Chelsea Manning @xychelsea's leaked cables produced so many under-the-radar news stories and helped me with reporting

Make Leaking Classified Information Great Again! Or something.
Crowd: Trump endangered the country by leaking classified info to Russia.
Same Crowd: Thank god Chelsea Manning is finally free!
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) May 17, 2017
If Trump did, in fact, disclose classified information to Russian officials last week, he should most definitely be held to accountable. But Manning’s actions directly led to people’s lives being put in danger — and being lost. So why are the same people calling for Trump’s head heralding Manning as a hero?
That would make a good Venn Diagram, with 'folks who don't exhibit a lot of logical consistency' being in the middle.
