In case you missed it, yesterday, the New York Times graciously gave op-ed space to Marwan Barghouti so he could highlight the Palestinian prisoners going on a hunger strike to “[expose] Israel’s moral and political failure.”

Isn’t that special? Too bad the NYT got lazy when it came to Barghouti’s bio:

Oh, is that what they’re calling terrorists these days?

Convictions on five counts of murder, for those of you keeping track at home.

What? Did the New York Times not think that was worth mentioning?

That would certainly fit with the standards the Times editorial team seem to operate under.

They should. And they did — only took them a day:

Guess they got tired of being called out for their blatant whitewashing job. Great work as usual, New York Times.
