Heckuva job, lapdogs!

Media outlets are kinda sorta almost starting to catch on to the news that consumers across the country are receiving their health insurance policy cancellation notices:

A new report by the nonprofit Kaiser Health News describes the havoc Obamacare has been wreaking on citizens’ coverage.

NBC News posted the story as well.

Some details from the report:

Twitchy readers are already well acquainted with news like this. Unlike the MSM, which at best has only halfheartedly acknowledged a problem, we have consistently covered the flood of cancellation notices:

Yeah, that. If the MSM were willing to remove their lips from the president’s backside long enough to take notice of real Americans, perhaps they’d begin to regain some of their long-lost respect.

Until then, not only will we continue to hold the Obama administration accountable for its actions, but we will hammer the media for their dereliction of duty.

  • Republicanvet

I bet reporting improves once the palace guard starts getting their cancellation notices.

That’s what I don’t get about all those sycophants…. Historically they’re always fed to the lions….

You’re looking at it from the wrong perspective. They all know they’ll get fed to the lions. They’re just hoping to get eaten last.

    • Kevin Gallagher

The Democrats arent stupid. They knew this program wasnt going to work from the get go but they knew they could get the typical low information voter to think it was going to be amazing. The next argument they will make in 2-4 years is that we need to transform the ACA into single payer and they are betting the house that they will be able to manipulate the American voter into agreeing with them yet again.

      • billeeblue

And the low information voter will think single payor plan is great. Just like the Obama phone.

      • Allen C Eriksen

It’s not that they knew the program wasn’t going to work. They *knew* it would because the President said it would. Not only did they believe it would work, but that it would be affordable or free. I learned a long time ago two things,… Nothing is free, and there is free cheese in a mousetrap.

        • GTFOBigGovt

They knew. Obama’s on video saying so from years ago. And even this past summer Reid said it. And others.

        • Bill Wood

In this case, the second mouse doesn’t even get the cheese. :-)

        • Tommy Marcial

          Nice comment

        • Yukidongo

The program is working. It is going to collapse the economy, for one thing. The other thing is IF you don’t have insurance, or the ACA–neither of which are affordable–they will take the penalty from your tax return, and if it isn’t all there, they want your banking info to collect it directly from your account. If you say no, they will suspend your Driver’s license and put a tax lien on your home/property. The program IS working because it has NEVER been about Health care. It is about finishing breaking the last residual of the working class, and taking their property. WHY would you suspend someone’s DL so they couldn’t work at all, and put a tax lien on their property unless that was the plan? You are right…Nothing is Free except the robbery of the government. The ACA is FREE money for them, and not enough people will sign up for the program for it to survive.

      • LLinLa

        Precise analysis!

      • Worship Dancer

and THAT was the plan all along – a single payer system. obama said it in 2003 during a speech at an AFL-CIO meeting – he said country couldn’t go right to it because no one would go for that but that it would have to be implemented exactly the way it’s being currently implemented. and like you said in 2-4 years if it takes that long libturdocrats will cry and boohoo that the system isn’t working and it bankrupting America so we MUST go to single payer like canada and britain currently have in 2013 and ration care just like they do. old people and terminally ill people will be told to just die.

Independence Blue Cross, the major insurer in Philadelphia, is canceling about 45 percent of their policies. I got my letter last week.

Today I got another letter from Independence telling me I could visit their website to see if there were any other policies that might fit my needs. But guess what? Their website doesn’t work either. Because it’s tied into the Obamacare website on the back-end and the O-care isn’t working, the Independence BC/BS can’t give you any policy info. Success!

I’m on Medicare, Medicare part B.. and BECAUSE of the 50 billion Obama claimed by right to fund Obamacare, many of us just had our payouts shoot up 300%..

Now, even though my wife works full time, my SSD isn’t getting any bigger, and I have to choose wether to give up buying food for my kids.. or pick up my prescriptions.. 8 all together,.. they were under a hundred..

      not anymore..

My deepest wish is that Medicare be privatized.. instead, they keep it near bankrupt and use it to scare the seniors and disabled,.. Then rob it themselves without a media peep to fund their pet causes..

I wish I had not had my back broken, but I can’t change that. But the best hope we have for both our dignity and our survival under Medicare, is for a private company to take it over, and shake loose the fakers Obama dumped on the rolls, and make it solvent.. I trust a private company a lot more than government, no private insurance company has put me through the Hell Workers Comp and Medicare has.. and I’ve dealt with them too, in the beginning.. Not long after the accident the doc’s had me on nuerontin and percocets, morphine just so I could walk and have some quality of life..

WC totally screwed my case up, didn’t even bother issuing me a card, just blew it off.. then they decided to cover their mistakes by “disappearing” my claim.. “denied”.. and closed the book with no way to cover my medications, two months of agony as my attorney went after them to reinstate my claim.. one the company itself never denied happened, Hell they had it on tape..

Two months exploring how much I wanted to live for my wife and kids, as I prayed for the pain to just go away. just to end.. I held on through God’s mercy and my families love.. but I fear now, like an animal fear, loosing the nerve pain blockers like I fear Hell’s own fire..

So I learned about the mercy of government first hand.. and how a bureaucrats backside is worth more than a life..

and Obama wants this for everyone.. except he and his friends..

ten minutes.. and I’d open his eyes to the mercy of government and it’s petty small people.. Two times I’ve seen what Hell is like, here, and one other.. I wouldn’t wish government “compassion” on my worst enemy.

      • BeautifulAmerica

I am so sorry about your disability and this mess you are in, your terrible pain, the things you’ve witnessed which are hellish. I am really grateful to you for the time you gave to America as a serviceman. Thank you, Sir.

I wish I could help. You are a good writer, and interesting to read. Could you write articles? Or stories?

        • Mark81150 USAF SP EST Team

Well thank you.. I used to blog some at a small website,.. under the name puggs,..invited by the host to help provide posts..

I have considered after the current round of tests and treatment, seeing if I could go to college with the VA’s help. thinking maybe I could teach,.. I always loved working with kids, they see the world through un-jaded curious eyes, and can renew your sense of wonder..

But maybe I should try writing instead? I enjoy it.. and there’d be no restrictions I’d have to overcome, like lifting heavy objects….

I’ll think about it,.. and thank you for the kind words..

Waiting for the reports that “This was always part of the plan.” We have always been at war with Eastasia.

I don’t know if the truth will even penetrate the thick skulls of these leftists. They’re blaming employers, & insurance companies, & Republican governors–everybody except for Ole Empty Chair. Even when it’s happening to them, they’re so Godawful dumb…!

  • Onyx

Continue to be a little puzzled why the ACA is being blamed for these shenanigans as opposed to the insurance companies. The article says, of course, “Most are ending policies sold after the law passed in March 2010” — plans that existed before then are generally grandfathered in. In other words, the insurance companies created new, non-compliant plans after the law passed, sold them to millions of customers (knowing full well they would have to cancel them in a few years), and are now, predictably, issuing those cancellations. It’s not surprising, but why blame anyone but the insurance companies that made the decisions? (Or, I guess, the customers, but I’m assuming the scheduled expiration of these plans wasn’t made very clear.)

    • HeavyMetalPolkaMonkey

Yeah, the bill that Pelosi & Co. couldn’t be bothered with reading, the hell-bent push to implement it while granting exemptions to themselves and others, and the complete mismanagement and incompetence in the design/build/implementation of the CorkyCare portal had nothing to do with it. It’s the evil GOP/Tea Party/Racists/Kitten Killers behind the torrent of fail coming out of D.C.

None of that had anything (at all) to do with what I said. Maybe you meant to push the “Rant” button instead of “Reply”?

Let me help. The plans pre-date the law, and don’t cover required things, hence the cancellation notices and offer of comparable plans. And I think that sucks donkey d!cks.

      • Onyx

No, they don’t pre-date the law. That’s the point. That’s what the article states.

        • mimi25

The old policies have pre existing condition clauses and life time maximums that they will pay. With Obama care they have to accept any one with any pre- conditions and no maximum that they can stop paying at . Hence new policies with higher premiums to off set the extra things that now have to be covered. With higher deductibles.

    • Mimi

My brother worked for an insurance company when ACA was passed. It was immediately apparent what the costs would be to his industry, and not only were people getting laid off right and left, they were looking for any possible way to cut costs just to stay afloat. This may not be popular, but insurance companies are businesses that need to pay their bills (unlike our government, apparently), and it is not possible to simply say to a business, “You will foot the bill for this extremely expensive change in law” without some some fallout as they try to figure out where the money will come from. The immediate effect for our family was that our employer was given fewer choices of plans (in 2010), and the ones available were more expensive and covered far less. We had a new plan at that time for that reason. Several smaller insurance companies have gone out of business since then, as they did not have enough of a buffer to absorb all the new costs to them. That’s why I don’t blame the insurance companies.

      • betspotter

Thank you. Your reasoned approach has made my head stop exploding. Anyone who thinks government sticking its big fat nose into the insurance and medical industries is a good thing needs some serious historical education. Dems know it won’t work. They want single payer. They want the whole pie….’free’.

    • Ralph Haines

There is absolutely no reason that the Obama administration would be ignorant of the fallout that would ensue from the passage of the ACA. What you have stated is a case of collusion with insurance companies by the administration. Obama has proven again that he can be even more devious than Nixon.

      • SJ

This wasnt unknown to the adminstration, this is a big step into a socialist govt

Why should an insurance companies policy have to live up to Obamacare standards? Ya see? If people want those policies it should be their business, not the governments to come in and say, “Hey, you have to meet our standards.”.

It all boils down to, if you can afford your own ins. you should also be able to subsidize the ones that are not able to.

      • John Bagdasarian

That is the whole point. It is govt takeover of the insurance industry so that the liberals can take over the country.

      • Stephen Hawk Jr

Exactly. I’m a 37 year old male and I haven’t been to the doctor for anything other than an employment physical and a tetanus shot since my separation physical from the USMC in early 03. The tetanus shot was less than 20 bucks and the physical was free since I got the job. I haven’t even had a flu shot in that time *haven’t had the flu in that time either* but I’m required to purchase a plan that covers mammograms, pap smears, pre natal care, contraceptive coverage(birth control pills? Don’t those have a big warning saying men shouldn’t even handle them? I have to pay for insurance that includes dug coverage of something I’m not supposed to even touch?) drug rehabilitation coverage (whatever that means) colonoscopies which I won’t need for several more years, and dozens more “essential” coverage items I don’t need. All I might want is one that covers emergencies like if I were to drop something heavy on my foot at work/home, an emergency appendectomy, or if I somehow dislocate my shoulder. And in about a year or two I may add on something for eye exams and glasses/contacts. If they really wanted to make this affordable they would have removed state requirements for essential coverage which are the main preventative to buying plans across state lines and let me buy an a la carte plan.

    • TocksNedlog
    • karmafordems

Guess what. Those who bought those policies got two years out of a cheaper health plan. When the market changes are forced, i.e. Odontcare, and what the laws now force, such as 55 year old women being forced to purchase childbirth, birth control and abortion coverage, what do you think those policies will cost?

    • bob3653

If the insurance companies knew full well that they would have to cancel new, non-compliant plans in a few years, then Obama and Sebalius surely must have known that as well, so why put all of the blame on the insurance companies? Insurance companies are in business to make money, Obama is in business to destroy the USA. Big difference, The proof is everywhere and the only reason impeachment is never going to happen is because of the limp dick republicans in Congress.

      • Nanette

OR perhaps..that the Attorney general is democrat and he is Eric Holder. You can not impeach without the Attorney General!

    • Nanette

OH get educated..one of the reason the premiums went up is they have to at least cover everything the Health care covers..dah..like pre-existing conditions, cap is now 750,000, and ect. That is why the premiums are way up! So, they knew what was in they law and they should have not covered anyone two years ago?

    • CORMAC___NJ

These are the words of a person with zero comprehension of how a free-market economy works. Consider this: Maybe they did sign people up on plans knowing they only had 4 years before the plan became non-compliant. So what? That still gave people 4 years of coverage that they liked. And it’s still Obama’s fault that they can’t continue with those policies (in direct contrast to Obama’s lie that “If you like your policy, you can keep it”). Moreover, it’s not as if people are somehow screwed because they had those policies for a while – the only applicable reason would have been if preexisting conditions weren’t covered, and that’s not the case. So unless you are saying the insurance companies knew the ACA web-site would be useless, your only criticism of the insurers is that they gave people a good deal knowing it wouldn’t last (again, thanks to Obama).

Nice job of blaming insurers for what Obama did!

    • mike_in_kosovo

In other words, the insurance companies created new, non-compliant plans after the law passed

Nope. Length of coverage. People in those same plans from before 2010 can continue, from what I’ve read.

    • Joan Bennett Humphries

Perhaps the insurance companies were hoping that Obamacare would be knocked down; or perhaps they were given “incentives” by the Obama Administration???

    • Alton Clark

Do you think that the insurance companies should loose money because of obama . After they are no longer here then what ? Government can charge all they want and then and you will see how much BANG you get for your BUCK !

    • Pamela Collins

….and what’s your liberal explanation for why my son’s policy shot up along with most everybody elses who didn’t get cancelled? I’m anxious to hear your response.

    • Centurian2010

And just who do you think was in bed with obama when this ACA idea began? You just now realizing obama does not give a darn about Americans or our healthcare, only power and his bank account. For once blame the one responsible, obama; it is his mess.

    • Drewdxbarry

Because they met with barry to create the law. Barry and insurance companies are made for each other, one in the same.
Unless you are unemployed, exempted, or never planned to sign up anyway, you will be singing a different tune when it is your turn to pay for aca. If your employer is paying, wait the year they are exempt.
It is people like you messing things up, not because you could be a bad person, but because you still see the emperor wearing clothes.
Every dollar that goes into the high premiums is money that doesn’t get spent in the real world. Small business will close, leaving your worst enemy, big business, like insurance companies.

    • Jimbo

Well, I think you Amerika hating Tea Party terrorists are blaming the wrong person. This was based on Romney Care. Colbert and Stewart can’t BOTH be wrong.

      • Guest

I hate that argument so much. Romneycare was only implemented in the state he governed and it worked for that specific state. On top of that no other insurance companies were forced to comply with coverage that Romneycare deamed as the standard which is exactly opposite of Obamacare.

      • Esther

Yes, but wasn’t Romney care implemented at the State level? Isn’t there a distinct advantage to having things run on a smaller scale, closer to the needs of the people? It seems Oregon has come up with something similar called CoverOregon. A bigger federal government running more programs is not more efficient it is less. Return power to the states, and let people move to where they like best or vote in programs in their own state that suit their needs.

        • Jimbo

Get a dictionary and look up the word “irony.” Don’t be so literal Esther, I was joking, sort of. The libturds have been using the Romneycare analogy to stifle any resistance to Obacare. As in “I don’t know why you don’t like it, it’s based on a Republican model.” The difference is the Repubs know how to make things work, while the Dimwits only know how to destroy things. When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

  • David

As predicted by the TEA members, obamacare was an enterprise doomed from the beginning. Hold on to hope that this law of the land nightmare will end up on the trash heap of history.

    • Michelle ✓classified

Even when it ends up in the trash heap (and it will), the damage will have been done. All the insurance companies who are cancelling certain plans that folks are completely happy with, they won’t be put back in place with the same prices and the same coverage. The taxes that have been created to help bankroll this misadventure won’t be rolled back. UPS stopped offering insurance to spouses of employees and once they see folks accepted and learned to live with that, do we really believe UPS would reverse that decision just because Obamacare goes away? Flex spending/pre-tax accounts were changed, they won’t be put back to what they were.

We all can’t wait until the day this nightmare law is dismantled, but the damage has been done.

      • David

        Thanks. You helped my education.

      • aclay777

That’s why reform fell off the table and the government, which has failed at everything except Advanced weaponry, oversite would not line their pockets and would take from big business, this is the way it always works, big business over the people and Elected officials get rich.

        • Michelle ✓classified

I must be having a mentally slow day, I have no clue what your comment has to do with mine. My point was, even when the law is repealed, things won’t go back the way they were before it. The damage won’t be undone. I’m not understanding what that has to do with advanced weaponry and rich politicians, but OK.

          • aclay777

I was agreeing with you, it was supposed to be reform, now that have tossed so much in the way to make an argument to do away with it, Government Jobs lost, you’re right, it won’t get back to where it was “unless” the US opens up to start-up insurance companies from other countries, then prices will drop like a rock. WHAT EVERYONE HAS MISSED AND WHY THIS IS AN OBVIOUS CONSPIRACY, KEEP YOUR PLAN, THEY KNEW THE PROVISIONS OF OBAMACARE WAS DESIGNED TO END THOSE PLANS. WHAT YOU and no-one has mentioned is the upfront billions (if not trillions) of dollars shifted to the insurance companies and from the American people . . . . .

            (1) litigation cost, now it’s roughly 80 Billion a year, now the government makes the decision on care denied, now the tax dollars will be spent instead of private sector big insurance, and why then the higher premiums for less coverage with less litigation cost? Payoff’s of course, and they have already started.

            (2) What was revealed in the last two days, that the people that was the excuse to give them a “policy” this social medicine, 85% of them are not eligible, what was the point (excuse) a piece of paper? (while they always had care, it’s illegal to deny care in this country) what these alleged indigents has missed is that before, they had everything needed for real treatment, now the government has limited choices, while they have a policy, they have opted into less care.

NOTE: today a undocumented subcontractor (South Carolina) took his son for specialized treatment and an operation to Orlando Fl, (he’ll be back Thursday) this was advised now because once the provisions of Obamacare kicks in this treatment will be forbidden, so he pushed up the operation even though the child is about a year younger than they like for this treatment.

SO, while you have a piece of paper now, a policy, you have eroded treatment options made by an IRS agent, “efficient” we know that’s not true.

But the taxes we paid CAN be put toward the pubic debt, and no, I meant pubic

        • Michelle ✓classified

Doesn’t matter what they can be applied to, tax increases that were the direct result of the passages of Obamacare should absolutely be stopped once Obamacare falls apart. We all know they won’t be stopped. What is pubic debt?

          • karmafordems

Obamacare is a tax. Taxes can be cut. Just need to elect new members to congress and senate that have the stones to cut them

          • Michelle ✓classified

I’m talking about specific taxes that were created on certain services that were implemented by the passage of Obamacare.

          • karmafordems

Uh huh, me too. We replace the thugs in the Congress/Senate in 14. We press for those already collected taxes to pay down the debt. Then we start overturning his vetoes. Being an American means something to me.

          • karmafordems

Which is why we must get them all out. Pubic=crab tastic. And why MUST you ask?????

In addition to, Michelle, the astronomical cost (can we say kickbacks, ripoff, closed door deals, etc.) tied to assembling this “web drama” with, apparently, absolutely no accountability to the taxpayers(us) that doesn’t even function, Just for your own acid indigestion and hair pulling episode, do a comparative search of what it cost free market companies to put together web sites and product roll outs. It is obscene what this administration has done to us and we must find a way to hold their feet to the fire to get our money back over this boondoggle.

Way to go Government. Take something that wasn’t broken but could have used minor adjustments and totally dump the whole country into chaos, more expense, higher taxes, less coverage and just a whole lot of mucked up mess. I am self-employed and my insurance carrier will no longer offer insurance in Colorado. I am losing my health insurance that I have had for 20+ years at the end of 2013( in a side note my premiums started at $150 they are now $304, the closest plan to mine is $587). I got a call today from a “Navigator” who wants to help me sign up. She told me I have to sign up to see if I am eligible for Federal Subsidies. But I don’t want any subsidies. But I cannot apply for insurance until I apply for a subsidy. Oh and it should only take 11/2 to 2 hours…

    • http://youhavetobethistalltogoonthisride.blogspot.com/ keyboard jockey

The navigator uses the exact same website that people are supposed to sign up on and can’t. They can’t quote you anything over the phone all they can do is send you some information -paper in a couple of weeks.

I could really not care less what the MSM think. Unfortunately, too many LIVs get all of their “news” from the networks and lib rags, so they still don’t know what the hell is going on. However, they will find out as they receive cancellation notices and ball-busting premiums/deductibles under the “Affordable” Don’tCare Act.

be aware anyone that receives a canx notice from any part of blue cross . is being scamed / they are a main insurer on the ACA website , so they are dumping you to force you to use the ACA website and to pay a higher premium . from your current coverage. there gonna make a killing off this / that’s why ins companies haven’t complained about taking the free market side of it away. they are gonna make almost twice the premium if they canx and force you to purchase thru the ACA exchange which they are apart of

I do believe that history will show that this mess is Justice Roberts’ legacy. He made taxation without representation constitutional. Even though it was not represented as a tax during the legislative process, Roberts declared it a tax and upheld the law. It is his baby.

    • karmafordems

What makes it taxation without representation is that our representatives did not listen to their constituents who said no to this crappy law

      • ibelieveinfreedom2

The House didn’t write the law. As it stands, if this is indeed a tax, it’s illegal because it was written in the senate. I wonder what SCOTUS will say about that. What’s more, I wonder why The House hasn’t said anything about that. And remember, Roberts only said it would be Constitutional IF it were a tax. He didn’t say it IS a tax. Obama and gang said it was NOT a tax. Something fishy about all that legal stuff someone needs to plow through. I don’t believe this is legal even with the SCOTUS ruling.

        • karmafordems

Roberts rewrote the law and made it a tax. Roberts went rogue. It was never argued as a tax. Obama had the NSA rough up Roberts. We would have won. Doesn’t matter that the law did not originate in the House. Roberts rewrote it, and it isn’t going back to SCOTUS. House is just as corrupt as Senate.

Got mine too. The “new” improved Ocare policy is nearly double the cost with higher deductibles. What a deal!!

  • EastValleyConservative

They knew, and it’s all on schedule. The goal? This is Obama’s gift to the Progressives. They never wanted ObamaCare, they wanted single payer. And they wanted it NOW. With as much money at their disposal (and boy did they ever DISPOSE) to build a website with 4 years to get it together, and with as much money they had (ours) to throw at brilliant web developers, are we to believe they just couldn’t get it right? These are the people who galvanized social media and monitored behavior during elections so they could do and say just what their crowd wanted to hear at the right time. All on purpose. So let’s not be shocked as the MSM slowly trickles into their “this is awful” mode. They have to trickle because it would shock their viewers if they suddenly went into a rage over the failed ACA and website. No, they still have to somewhat kiss the behind of the Democrat in the White House for the sake of the party so they can usher in the next Democrat, one that’s worse than him.

  • AcecardZ

Between Benghazi and Obummer’s outrageous lie “If you want to keep your old healthcare insurance you’ll be able to” it amazes me the whole country isn’t asking for an immediate resignation from this clown! Perhaps it has to do with race after all.. What I mean is, no one seems to want to be the person responsible for impeaching the first “black, non-American, Kenyan, Muslim, socialist” president… because they will then be deemed racist etc etc…. can you imagine the riots? Just look at what happened after the Rodney King verdict… it will be nationwide.. ~sigh~

Obviously many Americans are so ignorant that they didn’t realize, you could always buy individual insurance unless you are obese, and/or have a Preexisting condition that was expensive to treat. Now lots of folks will be without insurance, but the obese and those with Pre existing will have insurance. Screwy!

Yeah, they’ll report their version of the “truth.” They’ll start talking about how it was passed on a single party line, and how it was the Republicans who passed it without any votes or input from the Dems, and liberal sheep like JoeMyGod, WhoDat, and the others will eagerly eat it up because nothing pleases them more than parroting what they heard from Obama.

  • Mark81150 USAF SP EST Team

and when the working poor start burning Obama in effigy… they’ll scream racism, while they snickered as the left did it to Bush..

This corrupt democrat owned media will always refuse to see the harm of “their” president,.. they still preach Carter was a good president for God’s sake. They never noticed an out of control “homeless” problem, till the day AFTER he left office, then suddenly it was all Reagan’s fault that every city had thousands to deal with.. They had become an epidemic under Carter..

but the media somehow never noticed..

Just as they forgot entirely about them when Clinton was sworn in.. no longer an issue they cared about..

    • ObamaFail

Obama has given us the highest poverty levels in 50 years, and I bet if the next President is a Republican, two days into their time in office and the MSM will be reporting how they’ve given us high poverty levels in the two short days they’ve been in office. And the liberal sheep will eagerly start blaming that President for all of Obama’s failures. And if Hillary frauds her way into office, then Bush will get the blame for the 8 years of failure that she inherits.

      • Rena

Its always been interesting to me that they say it takes one presidential term for the affects of the prior administration to take affect but that only applies to who is in office, such as the problems during the democrats are due to the republicans being in office but when the prior administration was democrat its still the republicans fault… So I asked, when do the democrats ever take responsibility for their mess ups? …. things that make you say hmmm…

  • ObamaFail

It’s so pathetic that the MSM refuses to report on things that makes Obama look bad. This has been happening for a month now, and they’ve refused to report on it because CNN and the other shill media are paid to bury anything that makes Obama look bad.

The only havoc wreaked on America is the continual deceptive propaganda reported on its being demonized and false claims of its not working being reported as facts when upon investigation its all lies. Can’t really blame the MSM. • MRSquared

Even when the MSM gets around to noticing, their “headline” is that “thousands” are losing their current plans — meanwhile, it’s 300,000 from one company ALONE (Florida Blue), which based on its name, most likely offers coverage in just ONE state. The headline should definitely be at least “Hundreds of Thousands lose coverage”, and probably more accurately, “Millions Lose Coverage”. Considering most LIVs will get no further than the headlines, honest coverage would include honest headlines.

  • RosiesSeeingRed

The latest marching orders for the OFA trolls make them ask you for details if you dare state that you’ve lost your insurance and the alternatives are either costly, crappier, or both. I’ve run into this twice already. Here’s how brazen they are:

“Please detail the plan and amount you had before and the best plan and
the amount you can have now. Include subsities etc. Include all details.”

My reaction, of course, is none of your business, but if you don’t post all your personal information for them, then they accuse you of lying to create a bad name for ObamaTax.

I’ve answered back that my comments aren’t needed to paint a bad picture. The ACA is doing that all by itself. But gosh! “Include all details” like a COMMAND. Unbelievable.
