Planned Parenthood is perhaps the most anti-birthday entity in this country, and yet:

“No matter what.” No matter how many babies’ lives are snuffed out like candles. Only a twisted mind could ever see what Planned Parenthood does as “care.”

This is Planned Parenthood’s true legacy:

Margaret Sanger would be proud. She wanted racial cleansing, and PP is accomplishing that. It’s like the legalized “lynching” of entire generations of black citizens, with the Democrat’s blessings and support, not to mention “poor-white trash” babies! Way to go, Haters.

She can’t take all the credit, the eugenics war is being fought on many fronts; planned parenthood, of course, but welfare and hud breaking apart the families and encouraging mindless, immoral dependency, the department of education discouraging education and many other programs doing their part.

These eugenics warriors must be proud of their accomplishments.

Don’t want anybody left to tell the kids what America USED to be like! Can’t have that!

        • leftwingthom

What did America used to be like? You mean when blacks didn’t have the right to vote, and the KKK were considered public servants? When the Irish were treated as sub-human? When everyone was paranoid about Communism and rejected any form of non-conformity? There is no one way America used to be. Take your pick from the top.

          • trixiewoobeans

You really want to go there? Okay, let’s. You’re talking about the Democrat-sponsored and blessed KKK, who prevented blacks from voting and engaging in any meaningful social and economic equality? The same KKK who admired and endorsed Margaret Sanger for her views on “lesser” races, blacks being high on her list, referring to them as “weeds?” And why on earth would people be paranoid about a little ol’ thing like Communism? Because the Party has subjugated 100’s of millions of people in numerous countries, stripping them of their cultures, livliehoods, property, freedom, individuality and families. Let’s talk about the MILLIONS Lenin and Stalin murdered and suppressed for being “non-conformist,” like writers, those in the “arts,” doctors, those critical of the regime, ANYBODY who didn’t toe the line…you know…non-conformists. How about the MILLIONS murdered in China? Ask a Tibetan how being annexed by Communist China has worked out for them! Ask a Cuban about the joys of Communism, oh wait, you can’t, they’re “not allowed.” How about Cambodia? They murdered MILLIONS of anybody considered “intellectuals.” I’m talking doctors, students, teachers and professors. Heck, wearing a pair of eyeglasses was a death sentence because you were perceived to be an “intellectual.” Communism is ALL ABOUT rejecting non-conformity, and people had, and have, every right to be concerned. Ask anybody from Russia or an Eastern Bloc country if they’d like to go back to the joys of Communism, I dare you. America has done many things, good and bad. Was it perfect? Are you? But there was a reason people from all over the world wanted to come here. The possibilities were endless if you had drive and ambition, and if you didn’t, you could still have a better life working for those who had that drive and vision. It’s clear you’re a glass half-empty person. I have no time for those who only wish to mock, divide and destroy.

          • leftwingthom

I’ll note for 57th time that it’s unfair to tie the modern Democratic Party to the KKK. Remember, back at the conception of the KKK, the Republican Party was still very young, and the more liberal party, radically liberal in some wings. The Democratic Party was the old, conservative establishment. A switch happened somewhere around the Vietnam War, i wasn’t alive so I can pinpoint when exactly, but a change happened. That’s why I’ll note my allegiance isn’t to the Democratic Party, but to progressive values, they are not synonymous. Margaret Sanger was a racist, that’s a shame, no one in Planned Parenthood is taking after her vision today. You can’t hold parties and organizations accountable for their views 100+ years ago, obviously the world was different and times have changed. I’m well aware of the evils of Communism, I never said it was a good system. But being healthy concerned for the survival of Western society did not have to include tyrannical Communist witch hunts and a flock to rigidly strict Christian values. You can’t deny we sacrificed our own freedoms for the sake of freedom, and violated our own Constitution, and it was members of BOTH parties who were responsible. Sadly, I guess it’s OK to violate the Constitution if your trying to defeat Communism, even if it means being just like it. I don’t need a history lesson from you.

          • trixiewoobeans

You’re full of propoganda and BS. I WAS alive when this fantasy “switch” occurred, and you’re probably thinking of LBJ signing the Civil Rights Act…written and sponsored by Republicans…HOTLY contested by Democrats. LBJ signed it saying, “this will keep the ni**ers voting Democrat for the next 200 years,” overheard by his BLACK steward! It was a purely political move designed to bring MILLIONS of voters into the Democratic bosom, provided with Welfare to keep them quiet and grateful to their masters, and yes, voting Democrat, and it worked. My virulently racist Democrat family almost had a cow, and ALMOST changed parties because of LBJ’s “betrayal,” but realized the “wisdom” of it when things quieted down and the black population was “back on the plantation,” so to speak. They were also pissed it was written by Republicans, and they would not feel comfortable in the Party. This attitude was everywhere. The only non-racist in that family was the lone Republican. Many young people from then thought LBJ was a big humanitarian for that, and jumped on the Dem rolls, but it was all a scam. The racists are still there, keeping people on govt. assistance and down. You are deluding yourself, as I did for many years. When I was finally old enough to register, I went Dem because the Repubs. were so uncool. I was a young, hip Dem. I was also a tool and a fool, as I found out years later.

    • MarcusFenix

3% of service…or 3% of revenue source? unless they’re doing a hundred million cancer screenings this year, then 3% of their activity being abortion seems a bit underrated. We can quantify that they’ve done 300k+ abortions per year though….so 3% seems a bit off, eh?

    • Squirrel!

They said 3 million patients a year and someone here pointed out 334K abortion in 2011-2012. Call me crazy but that’s more than 10% of business doing abortions.

    • WhoDat

Would you rather they carry it to term if they don’t want it? Or should they go to some unsanitary place like Gosnell or a back alley?

        • WhoDat

It’s sad how you seem to assume every woman who feels she wants an abortion makes that decision lightly. And not everyone of those women are promiscuous or devoid of personal responsibility.

Adoption is a better answer. The child has a chance then unlike in the brutality of abortion.

          • AMERICAN Kafir™✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈwhitey

Not to mention the physiological harm it does to a woman’s body. In a miscarriage, the body prepares for the loss of the baby. In an abortion, the baby is ripped away.

          • Fhalkyn Phoenix

            Not true, on several counts.
Some feminists do, in fact, get pregnant just so they can have an abortion. Sort of a demonstration of their conviction to their ideals.

If you look at the statistics of the various reasons women have abortions, it may not be taken lightly, but it is almost always for selfish reasons (effectively amounting to”I don’t want this baby”). Only a minority (somewhere around the bottom of the list) choose to have abortions due to incest, rape, or life of the mother.

Once the abortion has taken place, the women refuse to take responsibility for sanctioning the act, by blaming others (notable examples include the doctor that performed the procedure, their parents, and the guy who got her pregnant).

A number of abortions aren’t even for those reasons. When a teen girl is raped, the rapist (usually an older guy) forces her to have the abortion, to remove the evidence that he was the rapist.

Ultimately, though, it is partly the woman’s fault. It takes two to tango, as it were. It’s not like the guy pulls out a magic wand and says “Womanus getticus pregnanticus!” Abortion is a refusal to accept that responsibility.

…but my well-reasoned, polite, logical arguments will no doubt either be lost on you or ignored by you.

          • leftwingthom

Really? That’s how I get all my women pregnant.

          • leftwingthom

Dude, give it up. These people are living in a glass bubble, they don’t understand how average, normal operate. They dont understand that human beings have urges and need to have sex, they think we’re a nation of chaste, bland, Puritans still. In other words, they live in small town Missouri.

          • spaceycakes

so, give us your data. What are the numbers for women who are having multiple abortions as a means of birth control? What? You don’t have those numbers?

          • Jen Olney

Yes there are…a woman who kills her baby has a special spot in hell. If you make it you keep it….don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

      • MarcusFenix

Actually..they only do -some- of that.

For instance, they don’t do cancer screenings. They direct you to places that will do them…which is what anyone who can use a phone book/Google/The Internet could do anywhere. The procedure isn’t done there on site.

Same thing with STD tests. There may be facilities which can, but it’s also another referral item.

Low income people, as I was telling BSA the other day, can go to the local clinic in their county and receive the same treatments. Free cancer and health screenings are common in most communities.

      • Squirrel!

Yep, I’d rather the babies be carried to term. How wonderful it is for childless couples to be able to adopt and love a child! You people act as though abortion is the only answer. It’s evil and twisted.

Not to mention the magic words that you folks never seem to have a response to: adoption.

        • AudreyPH

When they do, it seems to be all “oh, all those rich couples.” No one should be forced to place their child for adoption but many, if not most, adoptive couples are middle class (though there’s nothing wrong with rich people adopting if they are good people IMHO) and often need help with the expenses involved in adopting a child.

      • leftwingthom

Yeah, and think about it. If they’re born, they might get adopted by a conservative family. One more conservative in the world is something we can’t afford.

      • spaceycakes

you’re talking about it like it’s the side-effect of a disease. A baby is created by two humans choosing to have sex. The PROBLEM can not be put back upon us. The problem must be put upon those irresponsible human beings who claim they were animalistic & couldn’t help themselves and now since I won’t support their child for them they’ll just kill it, you know–’cause it’s the adult thing to do.

    • leftwingthom

What makes her promiscuous? Because she got pregnant before she was married? Actually, we don’t even know that she wasn’t. Planned Parenthood has been around for a long time. It was started by Margret Sanger 97 years ago. And while I doubt they preformed the actual abortions prior to Roe, I’ve no doubt that they recommended people who would preform those operations on the side.

Ironically, “Sanger was opposed to abortions, both because they were dangerous for
the mother in the early 20th century and because she believed that life
should not be terminated after conception. In her book Woman and the New Race,
she wrote, “while there are cases where even the law recognizes an
abortion as justifiable if recommended by a physician, I assert that the
hundreds of thousands of abortions performed in America each year are a
disgrace to civilization.” from Wikipedia page on Sanger

No, that is only 40 years of legally protected abortions.

      • Kim

True, but PP didn’t consider abortion a “reproductive right” until the late 60’s.

Ninety-seven years of racism, classism, genocide and hiding sexual abuse of minors.

I spent the last several minutes trying to come up with a suitably snarky put-down for them, but only produced a long list of increasingly vulgar obscenities, which I shan’t mention in this polite company. Words cannot adequately describe my disgust with these murderers.

Would the people that operate [UN]Planned [UN]Parenthood be happier if their mothers or grandmothers had had access to abortions and exercised that right?

  • Adam Steiger

That pic contains the most blatant, and disturbing, message I’ve seen in a while.

    Evil stuff.

I don’t know what is more vile…the ad, itself, or the fact person or persons actually thought this garbage up with a straight face. And what does “Care. No matter what” mean? This asinine motto makes “Vote or Die” sound like Washington’s Farewell Address! Lena Dunham must have texted that in while doing one of her infamous pees.

Actually, a very small number of abortions are actually performed via Planned Parenthood, that’s really not their thing. They’re more about pregnancy counseling and providing birth control, that kind of thing. Excuse these mothers if they wanna do what’s best for them and their children, so they seek a counselor. Guess they DO care, after all…….

Does the government tell women “what to do with their bodies?” (in this case, it isn’t even about THEIR body, it’s about getting rid of someone else’s) about anything else, such as dying your hair, painting your nails, or piercing? No. This is all about abortion.
P.S. Oh wait, no it isn’t. What about the government sticking their nose into various things, from what women eat to the “right to choose.” the kind of healthcare that affects them and their families? There doesn’t seem to be much complaining about that among PP fans.

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

    Does this mean PP conducted (ILLEGAL) Abortions before Roe v. Wade mad it legal?? I wonder how they got away with that…Anyway, the 59,000,000 million (or so) babies who were never born say “Thanx…NOT!!” Jawamax 8<{D}

    • AudreyPH

It’s possible they conducted legal ones where it was legal before RvW. I know it was in NY, and CA (under certain circumstances it was pretty easy to lie about being in.)

  • MrApple

I wonder how many of the approximate 1.21 million killed each year from abortion would have liked to have had a birthday too?

  • $3838536

Kermit Gosnell & Wendy Davis both celebrating.

Has anyone noticed that the mainstream media seems to love showing girls and women crying over placing a baby for adoption, and how that apparently ruined their lives, and girls and women crying and/or complaining about raising the child and how THAT is apparently ruining their lives, but nothing about how an abortion has affected those who chose it?

Don’t forget how much of your money the Federal government gives to Planned Unparenthood each year – well over a half billion bucks
