Repub Glen Sturtevant has some 'splainin' to do (conservative group kicks me OUT for asking questions?!)

As anyone who follows me knows, I worked tirelessly to turn Virginia red. Annoyingly even. Every day, I was calling Terry McAuliffe or some Democrat out … over and over again. For months. Guess living under Ralph Northam with his ridiculous mandates (and that lovely photo of him either in blackface or a Klan robe) not only drove me insane but made me very very very determined to change this state. And change it we did.

While my heart may still be partially in Wyoming, Virginia is currently my home. Now, something you may not know about Virginia is our election years are different from most other states, we hold our local elections in odd years which is … odd. But anyway, what that means is we are currently in hardcore primary season here. As I am a Republican, I am heavily vested in the GOP primary; there are three candidates running for the nomination in my district and of course, I expect some barbs to be thrown and even some ugliness.

What I do not expect is for one candidate’s campaign to steal a FB account from a local businessman and use it to attack his opponents. That’s just dirty. Add to that being kicked out of a so-called conservative women’s group for my county when I simply ASKED about the campaign in question? Really dirty.

Way to make yourselves look guilty, guys.

I am, of course, talking about Glen Sturtevant. Tina Ramirez, who is one of his opponents in the primary, shared a post from a man named Vaden Scott who claimed a woman with Sturtevant’s campaign had used his business account without his permission to trash Tina and his other opponent, Amanda Chase.

There has been nothing but radio silence from the Sturtevant campaign since this broke, even with my asking him to please address this claim. I also asked many Virginia Delegates (representatives) who endorsed Sturtevant to address the claim … and nada.

Nothing.

Zip.

Finally, as I am in a ‘private’ conservative woman’s group for my county, I noticed the woman in question who has been accused of using the FB account, was in the group SO I asked her on a post to please address it.

Nothing.

Zip.

Again.

This sounds like a new show on Fox, ‘The Conservative Wives of MY County’. Anyway …

A woman from this conservative group reaches out to me in a message and claims that Sturtevant has fired Fulcher (the woman accused), contacted the businessman whose account was stolen, and apologized to him. GREAT, I said, but I’d still like to hear this from Sturtevant himself. I know, I’m a stickler that way. This woman says she will pass my professional email along to him.

And that was the end of that.

Until of course, I didn’t get an email, I still haven’t heard a response from the Sturtevant campaign, and OH YEAH, they kicked me out of that conservative women’s group.

For asking about these accusations.

Seriously.

You guys think I’m tough on Democrats and Lefties, I am even tougher on Republicans, especially when they want to represent ME. And to be fair, I held off writing this for days hoping someone from his campaign would call me or email me, tell me what had happened, and verify that the woman responsible had been removed. Instead, they’ve gone totally radio silent, ignored me, and I’ve been kicked out of a group of women who are supposed to fight with me, not against me.

This stinks.

I only hope Sturtevant will clear it up in the next 15 days – and apologize to both Amanda Chase and Tina Ramirez.

Oh, and to me as well.
