Guys, it's just Bill Kristol: The Hill makes a BIG DEAL about Conservative group's anti-Trump billboard but MEH

Media love pretending since Bill Kristol hates Trump that means he’s somehow in ‘trouble’ with his own supporters.

OMG LOOK, Conservatives want Trump impeached too! That’s totally news! Except it’s not when the same group of so-called Conservatives has been yammering about Trump since before he was elected. And look, I was totally in the Never Trump movement (Trump made me nervous, I own that to this day) but like many others in the group, when he won it became time to make it work. And I’ve ‘never’ been happier to admit he’s proved me wrong in many ways.

Do I want to have lunch with the guy? No.

Has he done a far better job as president than I ever expected? Hell yes.

Sadly, Kristol and a few others (and really, it is just a few at this point) seem to garner the attention of the media more than those of us who figured out Trump is definitely the better option for this country because they’re convenient for their ‘orange man bad’ narrative.

Like this from The Hill.

WOW, it’s a billboard.

Conservative group.

That’s adorable.

From The Hill:

Conservative organization Republicans for the Rule of Law released a new digital billboard campaign Wednesday blasting President Trump and several GOP lawmakers and officials over the ongoing impeachment inquiry.

The ads show an image of President Trump behind Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former National Security adviser John Bolton, acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani with tape over all of their mouths, according to copies of the billboards shared with The Hill.

And it’s RED. Like the GOP or Russia?! *so many eye rolls*

“If President Trump really could prove he is innocent of the impeachment charges against him, he would have made some effort to do so by now,” he continued. “If the President really does think the facts will exonerate him, why won’t he let those facts come out?”

Someone should tell these yahoos that people are INNOCENT until proven guilty in this country. Note, the article does not mention Bill Kristol BUT if you look up Republicans for the Rule of Law you find this:

Republicans for the Rule of Law is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and a project of Defending Democracy Together. Contributions are NOT tax deductible.

And then, if you go to the Defending Democracy Together page you find this:

William Kristol

DIRECTOR

Bill Kristol  is editor-at-large of The Bulwark. He was a founder of The Weekly Standard, and is a regular guest on leading political commentary shows.

All roads seem to lead back to Bill … so I wouldn’t get overly excited when this ‘Conservative’ group goes after Trump, media. Just more of the same and that’s meh.

Sorry, not sorry.
