HOLD UP: Katie Pavlich questions THIS with story claiming Obama warned Trump about Flynn

In light of Sally Yates giving testimony this afternoon, the big news of the day has been that Obama supposedly warned Trump about hiring Flynn. Notice how NBC News is even calling it an “exclusive”:

Interesting. Except there appears to be an issue with the story that Katie Pavlich points out:

Hrm, excellent question.

From NBC News:

According to all three former officials, Obama warned Trump against hiring Flynn. The Obama administration fired Flynn in 2014 from his position as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, largely because of mismanagement and temperament issues.

Ok. Name them. Hey, it’s totally possible that Obama warned Trump, but why wouldn’t an outlet like NBC News name them? And where are the quotes? Clearly the journo writing this had enough information from them to make a generalized statement, why not just quote them?

And there’s the issue. Honestly we could say something along the lines of, “According to sources, unicorns do indeed exist,” because this editor’s daughter insists they do.

Obama may well have warned Trump, but this is their proof? Three unnamed officials who aren’t quoted anywhere in the article?

Makes ya’ wonder.
