Oh Chris. Seriously man?
This isn’t offensive.
Nope, not one bit.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo: 'Fake News' Label Is ‘Equivalent of the N-Word for Journalists’ https://t.co/v4gin1ZXlV (AUDIO) pic.twitter.com/uSxboyhrHr

Chris Cuomo has lost it.
During an interview with his fellow CNN talking head Michael Smerconish, Cuomo said he views the “fake news” label being hurled at the media as their own n-word.
The man compared the media being hit with the consequences of their own actions to a horrible slur.
And he wonders why no one takes them seriously anymore.

D’oh! So does that mean it’s okay when the media uses the term fake news?

Yup, our reaction as well. Nope. No no no.

Cities would be ON FIRE.

Exactly.
UPDATE: Chris Cuomo has since apologized:
I was wrong. Calling a journalist fake -nothing compared to the pain of a racial slur. I should not have said it. I apologize https://t.co/TJGUgWz9Q2

I want to thank you for calling me out for equating fake with other slurs. Wasn't my intention to diminish but just saying it was too much. https://t.co/WxDSiQ90i3
