Pacers disappoint literally everyone, allow Heat to advance to East finals

Ugh.

Just the worst.

Remember just a few days ago when the Indiana Pacers held a 2-1 lead over the Miami Heat in the second round of the NBA Playoffs?

That fleeting feeling of everything that the Heat have worked for looking like it could come to an embarrassing close was so, so sweet.

And the Pacers ruined it.

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James rallied and fought like they always do and in the end just out-basketballed every other body on the court, capping off a 105-93 Game 6 victory on Thursday night that left NBA fans thinking about what could have been.

Now, they await the winner of the Boston and Philadelphia series and bide their time in great position to reach the NBA Finals again.

Indiana Pacers. The tease of 2012.
