While some Trayvon Martin supporters took to the streets late Monday night to bash in the head of an innocent waiter at an Oakland restaurant, others achieved “justice” by smashing up the windows at a Men’s Wearhouse store.

The company was founded by entrepreneur George Zimmer.

Zimmer. Zimmerman. Whatevs. Low-information protesters don’t really give a damn.

As always, the Anonymous punks think private property destruction is high-larious.

Model Chrissy Teigen also thought it was a laughing matter.

We know at least one innocent victim caught in the violence who doesn’t find “social justice” vandalism funny.

This is really just f-ed up all around. Would somebody who owned a business even have time to be part of neighborhood watch? Why the hell would George Zimmerman even be clear across the country owning a business?! And why the hell is that celebrity ok with this?! These places don’t deserve anything! They did NOT kill Trayvon!

    • Jeremy

These thugs didn’t care it was close enough for them.

      • Damien Johnson

That was one of the things I’ve found tonight. Something else I’ve found (due to another user here) was that Trayvon was apparently looking to get a weapon. That’s on top of all the “Trayvon was a drug dealer” talk that’s been floating around. My point is, I hope nobody here is deifying Zimmerman. All parties involved-Trayvon, Zimmerman, Jeantel, they’re all scum. But if Trayvon did indeed start the fight, Zimmerman is still innocent for that. I still maintain both Zimmerman and Trayvon were in the wrong.

I also found out a 71 year old black man tried and failed to claim Stand Your Ground, despite that his life was in danger from a white man. I recognize that was a different jury, but these things really aren’t helping matters. That man by all accounts was in danger, and should’ve been allowed to walk just like Zimmerman has.

Edit: I never said Zimmerman claimed Stand Your Ground. I was aware he waived it and felt it didn’t need to be said.

        • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

Nobody is deifying George, from what I’ve seen.

          • Damien Johnson

I don’t think I saw any either. I just feel like some people MAY take that whole thing too far.

This guy walked (black man shot white kid)… and he had no wounds, there was no fight, and the kid didn’t have Martin’s record of violence and burglary:

          • Damien Johnson

            That was a great read.

        • Orwellian_Dilemma

Zimmerman did not use stand your ground defense. He used self defense which is different.

Stand your ground is used when you are merely threatened with harm and feel there is no other option but to make the initial attack.

Big difference. Much harder to show, and the burden (at least on some elements) flips to the defendant.

          • Damien Johnson

Now that’s short, sweet, to the point and breaks it down. I’ll have to use this to explain to people that Stand Your Ground was not a factor in this case.

        • NRPax

I also found out a 71 year old black man tried and failed to claim Stand Your Ground

If that’s Trevor Dooley you are referring to, there are a few important differences.

          1. Trevor pulled a gun on a child because he demanded that the boy stop skateboarding and the kid asked him why.

          2. The white man in question, David James, put himself between Trevor and the boy and tried to take the gun away from him.

Trevor started it by pulling a gun on an unarmed boy and David paid for it.

          • Damien Johnson

Well frick, this happened twice now. People keep posting stories on facebook about blacks that used guns and got off. I took the side of the woman that got 20 years for using warning shots to ward off an abusive husband. Then I found out she got them because she fired the shots with the kids in the room, or near her kids, which means that endangered them.

And now this. The stories I read left out that Trevor pulled the gun on the child.

just shaking my head right now.

          • JamesMc

James’ young daughter was nearby as well. James may have been able to resolve things peacefully without disarming Dooley, but Dooley did pose a reasonable threat. A sad situation.

          • Damien Johnson

Oh yeah, I left out the part that James was killed in front of his daughter. Freakin’ traumatic.

        • grais

Personally, I think Zimmerman may be quite deeply disturbed.

Was that 71 y.o. black man’s trial in FL? I’d like to read about that.

          • Damien Johnson

Yes, that trial was also in Florida. Apparently, he brandished the gun at a child first before the altercation, which is why he got punished.

    • grais

They likely aren’t even aware of George Zimmer.

They saw another opportunity to act like animals and they could not resist.
It has nothing to do w/ Men’s Wearhouse, nothing to do with George Zimmer, nothing to do with George Zimmerman, and nothing, certainly, to do with Trayvon Martin.
It has only to do with their upbringing and their own intellectual and emotional shortcomings.

      • Damien Johnson

        When you’re right, you’re right.

    • ckent25

      Karma’s a b*ch!

  • LinTaylor

Chrissy, did you seriously just try to turn real-world race riots…into a CSI joke?

No. You go sit in the corner and think about what you did, young lady.

    • Jeremy

That was a dumb joke by her indeed

    • GlockG22shoots40s

where do you get CSI? I read as the store owner is not going to like what he sees in the morning… not funny, clever maybe…

      • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

It’s the classic Grissom/Caruso one-liner at the beginning of the show.

      • LinTaylor

Glasses + terrible pun relating to crime seems to be her attempt at imitating the running gag with David Caruso at the start of every episode.

    • RedSoloCup

The dumb broad is not known for thinking straight, as evidenced by her history here.

  • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

They smashed the windows, because George Zimmerman got the suits he wore in court from Men’s Wearhouse.

  • MrApple

    This idiocy is truly hilarious.

    • Pat Loudoun

      My thoughts exactly.

  • rook105

Another excuse to steal! Low life, non working leeches of society.

Zimmer backed OWS. Another Leftist who doesn’t understand that they’ll eventually eat you too. I guarantee it.

    • trixiewoobeans

Feeding the crocodile, putting off getting eaten til last.

  • JeffWRidge

This reminds me of those densans back in 1996 who tried to start a boycott of the Dole Food Co. (the people who sell bananas and pineapples) because they disapproved of Bob Dole running against Clinton for president. Low information voters have been among us for a long time.

  • Marvin Nelson

Twitchy, you need to stop referring to these mobs as “protestors,” They are rioters, pure and simple and are protesting absolutely nothing. All they care about is pillaging and plundering their own neighborhoods. Call it like it is.

  • GulfPundit

“Hey, that store belongs to George Zimmer, man!”

  • RblDiver

Dumb rioters, don’t they know Men’s Warehouse stood with the Occupoopers?

  • Victor_Decurtis

An education is wasted on the stupid!

  • Monty Ferbert

You people are insane damage a man’s business for what your own personal agenda totally messed up in the head these people are..

    • Lertha Muttz

“Those” people don’t even know how to spell agenda. They have no agenda either. All they have is an excuse to pull their usual crap. You can bet your left testicle that 97% of them didn’t watch 5 minutes of the trial. But they know ALL ABOUT IT!! My ass.

  • Billie Slash

How astronomically stupid these people are to confuse the Men’s Wearhouse guy. God help us.

  • ThomasCollins1

    LOL reminds me of the story about the Arabs who bombed a business named American Media. I know from personal experience, the crooks in Oakland are none too bright;

    Can you describe him?

Well, he is a black male, about 18, sneakers, blue jeans, and a black jacket that had “Raymond” embroidered on the back.

  • objectivefactsmatter

  • Soppy

Good. George Zimmer supported the Occupy Movement and that’s who is stirring all of this up. Poetic justice.

    • Lertha Muttz

Really??? Give us a link PLEASE, so I can share it with a few of my friends.
