Here’s some good news to lift your spirits. “Layaway angels” are committing random acts of kindness nationwide, and word is spreading across social media. Strangers show up at big retail stores and cover the costs for shoppers who can’t afford to pay for their Christmas items on layaway.

Just watched someone get their Christmas gifts anonymously paid off by a "Layaway Angel". Gosh dang it, I told y'all I love this job. #kmartlife

It’s been a tradition at many Kmart stores for years:

These secret Santas are inspiring others to aim high and do good. Making spirits bright!

Good news: Wonderful of the Layaway Angles to do this.
Bad news: Something else for ass holes to bitch about.

Around Tulsa, an anonymous person drops a South African Kruegerrand wrapped in a $2bill in one of the Salvation Army kettles every Christmas. That’s a one ounces gold coin.

All the people who are so depressed in the other Twitter postings should read this one & learn. If they can’t do something like this, they could volunteer at a soup kitchen, etc. Getting outside of yourself, as I’ve learned the hard way, is the best cure for depression.
