Brilliant truth.

Twitchy just reported on two latest examples of Barrycade-breaching by patriots. The #SpiteHouse cones are no match for them (nor their vision: The Obama administration needs to brush up on its human anatomy).

#OccupyAmerica indeed.

Yep, remember that?

Funny how things change, huh? There is a difference, though:

Snort. And eww.

The brilliant “Obedience is not patriotism” pic should be the new motto of the day for #OccupyAmerica.

People are:

And they are continuing.

We can see 2014 from the Barrycades.

Of course, Twitter has to offer up a little something else, too:

Make it happen. We’d rather see glam shots of patriots than of President Stompy Foot.

In the minds of the lefties, when they engage in civil disobedience, it’s patriotism of the highest order. When we do it, it’s racism, terrorism, treason, hate, hostage taking and just plain unpatriotic. Hypocrisy is a way of life with the left.

    • MNWoman

When we demand the Constitution (that old relic) be respected and upheld, it is somehow unpatriotic. To demand our borders be secured and our immigration laws enforced, that is racist.

It really boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

    • ObamaFail

And when a muslim sets off a bomb during a marathon, libs line up holding signs that say, “Free Jahar!!!”

      • Beachley CE

we should send them all to iran……or somewhere in the middle east give them a whole new perception of real life, they live with blinders on & dumbly follow!

    • ObamaFail

Hypocrisy? Libs don’t know the meaning of the word! No really, they don’t. It’s too big of a word to remember.

      • Ronald

Grouping an entire collection of people together and intimating they are stupid is exactly what you would not like if someone did it to you. Why do it to them?

    • LegalizeShemp

Correct, because the left believes only their concerns are legitimate, all other concerns are illegitimate.

      • Ronald

The left thinks everyone’s concerns are legitimate. The right thinks only their concerns are legitimate. Both are wrong.

        • JeffWRidge

The left hardly thinks that everyone’s concerns are legitimate. The left has made it abundantly clear that opinions expressed by right-wingers, and/or Republicans, are not legitimate. In fact, they label right-wing/GOP concerns as hate, out of touch, terrorism, and, of course, racism. Many on the left call for outright censorship of right-wing free speech.

Nor do right-wingers think that only their concerns are legitimate. Most of us value all opinions, even ones with which we disagree, as long as they are stated in a manner that is reasonable and not filled with vitriol.

    • Ronald

When the lefties engage in civil disobedience, are we OK with labelling it patriotism of the highest order?

      • JeffWRidge

“We?” I cannot and will not speak for you, or anyone else. How you wish to label lefty civil disobedience is up to you, and how anyone else wishes to label it is up to them. I have nothing to do with, or control over, the opinions of others.

You either completely missed my point, or you are ignoring it. They have two different standards for their conduct and the conduct of anyone who disagrees with their political viewpoint.

As for myself, I have never labeled civil disobedience by anyone as anything other than a legitimate form of protest.

      • JamesMc

I’m OK with labeling most of the left’s protest antics as juvenile asshattery. The word ‘patriotism’ never even occurs to me. So, no, ‘we’ are not OK with that label.

Somebody in DC should go to Home Depot, pick up some cones, wait for Obama to leave the WH and then put up the cones in front of the hydraulic barriers for when he comes back. #BarrycadeTheWH

I am glad to see people taking a stand. It really feels like it’s getting close to torch and pitchfork time. (How do you even make good torches? I’d look it up, but the NSA’d put me on a list…aw, who am I kidding, I’m a conservative, I’m probably on there a few thousand times already)

    • MNWoman

It’s funny. I used to be afraid to post online comments and sign online petitions because I was worried the government was watching. Then when they admitted they were monitoring civilians without cause, I became angry. I refused to be silenced by fear, so now I happily comment and sign online petitions. If someone from the NSA is monitoring these comments right now, I want to say good afternoon to them :)

      • RblDiver

If I ended up married to one, I’d totally just insert random comments into threads like “Could you please pick up milk on your way home from spying? Thanks!” and see what happens >.>

        • MNWoman

In my emails, I should add at the end “hello to the NSA spy reading my emails today. I hope you have a fabulous day!”

          • RblDiver

My grandpa was a doctor during WW2, and they periodically had to do letter censor duty (he was a Captain iirc, don’t know at what rank it started). I don’t remember the specifics, but one letter someone sent had something like “I hope the censor understands how much a man can long for his wife,” so my Grandpa wrote on the side “He does” or somesuch.

      • Beachley CE

I have been posting since the jerk first running & have not been pc I despise him & his buddies…I would say the same thing to their face IAM NOT AFRAID….#1 GOD IS WITH ME, & WE STILL HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH EVEN IF THEY DON’T LIKE WHAT IS SAID….THEY KEEP PORN UP AS FREEDOM OF SPEECH THE PERVERTS! Don’t ever be afraid there are more of us than them & this is OUR country & WE BUILT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Z_He_Lives

The secret to a good torch starts with a solid haft of hardwood, soak some bandages,or just strips of cloth in lamp oil (torch fluid is always oil, never lighter fluid or any kind of volatile fluid which evaporates or burns at high temperatures) or a good slow-burning paraffin-based solution for about 10 to 20 minutes. Wrap as many strips firmly around your haft of wood as you need to create a very large q-tip-shaped torch, tying the ends off good and tight as you go. Blot off any excess lamp oil and make sure your hands and clothes are good and clean before igniting. An ideal torch is always sort of damp with oil,but not wet, or it will not burn the way you want it to.

      • CptNerd

Everything you need is available at your nearby grocery store. I’d use a metal-handle mop instead of hardwood, although you’d need something to keep your hand from burning, probably a dry towel. Washcloths and cooking oil might work pretty well for burning, and some groceries have blocks of paraffin. This past summer Shoppers Grocery had tiki torches for sale…

        • Z_He_Lives

Not a bad suggestion. I was thinking Indiana Jones-style but that’s a good idea.

You know, another classic touch that’s easily forgotten in the heat of the moment is the good old-fashioned pitch pot, a popular accoutrement that fits right in with the torches and pitchforks motif. A little pitch and bitumen makes for a well-rounded welcoming party that no one soon forgets.

  • Patriot

I wonder if Planned Parenthood is still getting their federal subsidies? Or is killing babies deemed essential?

    • ObamaFail

Of course killing babies is deemed essential by the Democrats. They’re afraid that if the babies get to be born, they won’t grow up into easily manipulated sheep like their parents.

      • RblDiver

Ironic that in the 70’s (as I learned today), a shutdown happened because the Democrat-controlled Senate wanted to open up abortion funding, which the Democrat-controlled House didn’t want. Oh how far we’ve come.

      • Ronald

Did you just say, “Killing babies is deemed essential by the Democrats?” Wow. That’s sick.

        • Alphabet_Soup

Hi Ronald. You’re quite the concern troll. Did you get all of your questions answered to your satisfaction and did you have an uplifting experience visiting?

  • MNWoman

Any word on how the immigration reform rally is going?

    • ObamaFail

Probably getting police escorts and having large areas opened up to them.

      • MNWoman

Would it be inappropritate to tile this a “Criminal Tresspass/Illegal Entry Reform Rally”?

        • ObamaFail

No, not at all. It is the truth after all, regardless of how libs feel about it. If our vets have things closed off to them because President Foot Stomp isn’t getting his way, then illegal immigrants don’t get the benefit of Political Correctness.

          • MNWoman

This is honestly such a blatant show of arrogance by both the president and the illegal aliens.

It is hard to find the words to express my absolute disbelief that this is happening considering the rest of the national parks are closed off to tax paying citizens.

          • ObamaFail

Apparently being an actual citizen is something that makes you an enemy of Obama’s.

  • FilleGitane

If Prezzy Pissypants ordered his idiot followers to gouge out their eyes I wonder how many would do it?

    • Z_He_Lives

I’ve spent all morning trying to get just one of them to say whether or not the lives of innocent children dying of cancer are more important than their designs on the Congress and White House in ’14 & ’16 and so far not one of them has answered in the affirmative.

These people would do anything Obama told them to do, and don’t forget it.

We need to get them out of the government as soon as possible and then it’s time to look into reinstating involuntary commitment to mental hospitals.

  • neoface

I think all government worker should take a stand, and tell Obama to go where the sun don’t shine. This is their country too, being an Obama zombie would only embolden him. It’s time to stand up for America. If Obama fires everyone, then he also fires himself.

    • w00tbart

Yes. How many orange cones does it take to fill the Grand Canyon?

  • neoface

I think GOP needs go on every news network and tell Obama its not his job blame everyone, but to lead, solve and bring the problem to a resolution. Now he is saying that he would only negotiate if GOP give him everything he wants. So if he gets everything, there would be no need to negotiate. And there goes the country to the path of ruins. Oblamer-in-chief still on TV lobbying and campaigning, the jerk still doesn’t know that he has got the job, now do your job!!!!

  • DiscontentWithLiars

What bothers me most, is that Americans working for the government are actually enforcing this debacle, and really trying to fulfill the “SpiteHouse” goal to make it as hard on the citizens as possible. It sounds like we have a lot of cleaning house for those in authority (I don’t care if it’s the IRS or Park Service). Are our state and Congressional representatives calling them out? If they aren’t, then they should go too!

  • LegalizeShemp

Yes, and “compromise” for lefties means “you drop your demands and do what we want or we’ll get our presstitutes to smear you”.

    • autdrew4real

In the 80s it was “give us everything we want & we will talk about what you want”, Reagan got had on that one a few times. Immigration for one. The only thing that changed was that we now have even more media & they are almost all on the agenda of one side & its always the same side, against Americans

  • Flyover Conservative

Frankly, I think we should have a national “Storm the Barrycades” day. Across
the nation the people should take our monuments back. Storm the campgrounds with tents, highway pulloffs with cars, war memorials with veterans. Overwhelm the
National Parks Socialists with citizens exercising the freedom of assembly on
our land. Maybe on Columbus Day? Time to “rediscover” America…..

  • FreeKen1

In the 1930’s the German and Austrian peoples were led by Adolph Hitler and his state controlled police and armed forces to blindly accept what they were doing as being for the overall good of the people. They controlled the newspapers and the educational system. Hitler understood that to get the population to go along you must first indoctrinate the children about the evils of the past.

In the 1970’s, Jimmy Carter formed the Department of Education and the federal government took over the teaching and indoctrination of our children. The liberals who controlled the department decided what could and could not be taught about history. Our youth were taught that our Constitution was a “living document” and free to the interpretation of the political parties.

Our army and police forces submit to the will of the “President”, and not to the Constitution they were sworn to uphold and protect. (Does anybody see a pattern here?)

If those in the Congress are not willing to stand for the will of the people and defund Obamacare, it is time to fire them. If America becomes a “police state”, we the people will have to use and enforce our Second Amendment right to overthrow an oppressive government.

  • Ted H.

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you
debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not
patriotic. We need to stand up and say ‘we are Americans, and we have the
right to debate and disagree with any administration!’ ”

More patriots should kick down the barry-cades and enjoy the symbolism of “Occupy America.”We the people should take back our zoos, parks and anything shut-down by Napolean/Hitler Odumbo.
