The front page of The Boston Globe is arresting and devastating.

It is hard to look at. But, in the words of the Boston Globe, Boston “will not cower.”

#PrayforBoston. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you all.

My horror at this atrocity is, sadly, accompanied by a gnawing fear of what liberty we are going to lose as a result; which is the invariable impulse of Government following such a tragedy.

First thing we’ll hear is that DHS could have stopped this if not for the sequester cuts.

The left is already using it to spread their brand of hate.

The smoke didnt even start and they were doing it.

Chuck Schumer and some other Democrat whose name escapes me already did.

Actually, Xavier Becerra( D-CA) and Steny Hoyer( D-MD) pretty much tied in the beat the 24 hour mark to the d’bag prize. Before 2 p.m. EST they had mouthed off, reassuring us that some things are predictable.

The freedom for us to rescind should be the freedom in this country to preach that it is holy and just to kill in the name of islam. That is a true hate crime and anyone saying this should lose all their constitutional freedoms and immediately be jailed.

Calls for more cameras are already happening.

      • Ken Alan Draper

because apparently the cameras they had didn’t get a good enough angle on the blood & gore. Camera’s wouldn’t have prevented this, heck, there were cameras watching the area from all the networks, sports media etc. & still no images of the individual planting the device. they are just “not letting a crisis go to waste” to get support to take away a few more rights from the American people while everyone is upset & emotional.

Didn’t say I agreed with it, I do agree with you.

Was it really necessary to put this upfront on page 1 above the fold and upfront and center on the webpage? Shock and awe has its place, but geeze…

I have a long career in EMS so not much phases me BUT I like the fact that those are bystanders saving that young lady’s life as well as all of the patients behind her. They didn’t run like many countries’s citizens do – they stayed and helped. That says and shows a lot imho.
