Drudge wasn’t alone there. As Twitchy reported, many tried to blame Beyonce for the power outage at the Super Bowl last night. Matt Drudge made a rare personal Twitter appearance to weigh in. But, hey, was there a plus side?

Heh.

Matt Drudge was a fan of something other than football last night.

Indeed.

He also wasn’t alone there. The RAM trucks tribute ad, using the voice of the late, great Paul Harvey, was a hit of the night.

Amen.

Update:

Actor Rob Lowe heaps on the deserved praise as well.

Quite a conundrum for liberals. Chrysler which received taxpayer dollars promoting God, plus the fact that the majority of viewers voted it as the #1 super bowl commercial.

Yeah but the moron liberals have no clue, or are purposely denying, how badly the federal government is destroying the farming industry. Either that or they just don’t care.

How is government destroying the farming industry?

        • Ntr

For one, they’ve been enacting policies that favor larger ‘corporatist-run’ farms over family farms. These policies are purposefully made to try and shut down family farms.

There are plenty of articles available by searching google for: government destroying family farms

One such article is at http://godfatherpolitics.com/2543/government-wants-to-destroy-family-farms/

Oh. You meant family farms. I thought you meant farming in general. I don’t really care if my food comes from a big corporate farm or a family farm. If family farms can’t compete in a free market, then adios.

But when the government is interfering in favor of one over another, that’s not free market. Not by a long shot.

        • John (it true me am)

          1) Subsidies
          2) Typical crony capitalism, but at display on a level beyond most industries. Yes, yes, Republicans as well as Democrats. See: Any of a hundred instances of corporate favorites who donate heavily to both parties being allowed to run rampant over the rights of independent farmers, engaging in clearly illegal practices that the DoJ refuses to address.
          3) Same crap as for any small businesses. Obamacare is very bad for farmers.
          4) Estate tax constantly decimating family run farms.

Wow, if Dodge now could only make a car with a decent head gasket, or one that didn’t short out at a 10% humidity level, they’d be in business.

Will go down as the best ad for many reasons. It reminds us of what made this country great and what is grossly lacking in today’s culture. The liberal mindset has ruined the work ethic and pride that made us what we are today and to have the reminder viewed by some many will hopefully get some, not all, thinking about the direction we are heading.
