Yesterday, protesters who oppose military intervention in Syria assembled outside Secretary of State John Kerry’s townhouse on Beacon Hill:

According to Twitter users, the protesters pounded on Kerry’s front door and windows. (Kerry wasn’t home. Perhaps he was on his boat?)
Protesters against action in Syria went to John Kerry's house, screaming and knocking on windows. He's NOT HOME, you guys. I . . . oh dear.

That’s right. The house apparently was not guarded.
@Andyouknow No gates or security. He lives in a brownstone in Louisburg Square on Beacon Hill, which is just . . . there.

We have nothing against people exercising their First Amendment rights, but there is a time and a place. If the protesters really did pound on Kerry’s doors and windows, that just isn’t right.
