What tweet? This repugnant puddle of gutter filth from MSNBC’s Touré about the white privilege of Holocaust survivors:

The power of whiteness.

Matthew spoke for all of us non-cursors . . . hateful divisiveness is all Toure’ knows.

    • http://1389blog.com/ 1389AD

Toure has zero talent and, were it not for political correctness and affirmative action, would have zero career.

Did those Americans who died in WWII die in vain? I’m sure they’re turning in their graves.

BTW I’m a Serbian-American. All of my Serb relatives disappeared during WWII in the Axis occupation of Vojvodina. I don’t know whether they were hauled off to Jasenovac to die, or slaughtered where they lived. Either way, they’re gone.

      • Informed&Concerned

Too many lives lost. I’m sorry about your ancestors.

All lost in my family were involved in America’s Revolutionary War – none in wars since. (but some serving now in Afghanistan)

      • Patrick Klocek

I don’t know why your Serbian ancestors didn’t deploy their white privilege against the NAZIs (Shhhh, and yes, the Croats and Bosniaks). As a Pole myself, I am baffled as to why my family didn’t do the same thing while being squeezed between the Germans on one side and the Bolsheviks on the other!

        • hanfeedback

My grandmother came from Poland herself, I agree with you 100%.

          • whitetrash

My great-grandmother came over from Poland and I’m sure she felt very privileged to get a job at a tobacco farm and btw she learned to speak English quickly because she HAD To. Imagine, no one learning Polish for her!

  • NRPax

    “The power of whitness.”

Really Toure? So blacks are so inferior that they wouldn’t survive a mass extermination program? Then you might want to behave yourself a little better.

    • mongeau

actually there are mass exterminations in Africa maybe he could experience that first hand

      • NRPax

People like him are perfectly free to relocate to a more monochrome country but they know for a fact that if they did so, they wouldn’t have as good a life as they have here.

        • RDaneel

His soft little Buttercup self would be juicy fodder for real evil critters. I bet most us us could make him cry and I are an old guy.

          • Kimihiro Watanuki

He is as soft as a cat’s under belly.

        • hanfeedback

Agreed 100%. For all that complaining about racism that people like Oprah do and Toure, there lifestyle would be IMPOSSIBLE in any black ran country on the face of this earth, it must eat them up inside so they want to bring everyone else down to their level.

          • Donnie Mac Leod

The longer they can sell their rhetoric the more apt it is that the progressive liberals will maintain the race card & thrive on white mans guilt for being born white after the years of black slavery. A little known fact is there were many more white slaves in North America than black suffering from the same evils perpetrated upon the blacks. The white ones were no better off because when a king has power over a slave the colour of the slave has very little to do with how badly he will be victimized by the power of the owner.

          • hanfeedback

I just downloaded a book entitled “White Cargo” I recommend all white people read it. You will understand the basis for the word “slave” and where the term “kidnapped” came from. You will also understand that the educational system in this country is a fraud.

    • Misanthrope

Quite a few of them haven’t in Darfur, Rwanda, and elsewhere.
But you won’t about things like that from Toure or MSNBC.

Disgusting. I know someone, who passed away last year, that survived the holocaust. She was simply the sweetest, toughest, no nonsense lady that you completely admired. I’m glad she doesn’t have to witness such a vile human being as this guy. She will always be 500% better than this dirtbag. Oh, and she wasn’t Jewish. She was German. Just not the German Hitler wanted.

    • sec818

a bajillion years ago when I was in 8th grade, our social studies teacher had a woman who had survived Auschwitz come and speak to our class….I remember her face, her voice, and seeing her number tattooed on her wrist.

      • dark angel

We had that in school too, and to see that is just sobering.

        • tedlv

And yet there are idiots (I am being kind) out there that deny the holocaust happened. I guess all those pictures above, and many of stacked up corpses were Photoshopped, right?

          • Chrissy the Hyphenated

One day I took my dog to the vet, who was an older, retired guy who worked part time and gave students a discount. I happened to come in while he was sorting through a box of photos he had taken during his service in WWII. He showed them to me. His unit had opened up one of the camps. These were his personal snapshots. They weren’t one whit different than the ones you see online.

          • JLM

Naw, they were all black people painted white, dont’cha know?

I’m sure there are some people who would probably believe the above statement.
I was just a kid here in the US, starting to come of age, when the first holocaust films made the newsreels. I still remember them and always will — Welcome to the adult world. I wonder if Toure will ever make it and stop being a mean, spiteful little creep.

      • Bruce

Every time I read about what went on in those camps, I’m sickened. What’s worse, with the way many like Toure think, I could easily see his ilk pulling a repeat against their enemies in the US. Many progressives, for example Roseanne Barr, seem not to regard those who disagree with them as human beings. She once suggested that people who make over $100 million should be forced to go into “re-education camps,” or be beheaded, IIRC. While she’s pretty much just a loud-mouthed idiotic b***h with no real power, I wonder how many progressives quietly think that would be fun.

        • JD Evans

It begins like this: My teenaged very liberal/Progressive nephew said “Some people deserve to be smeared.” It begins with smearing, then ostracizing, then demeaning, then falsely accusing, then imprisoning, then killing. We on the Right MUST keep our cool and not partake in the same slippery slope of thinking the other side is Evil. That’s what Leftists do, to marginalize, like Reid is slamming the Koch brothers with every breath.

    • Ryan Schneider.

      Red triangle?

    • Kimihiro Watanuki

I’m sorry to hear that such a great lady passed. She had to have been great to survive that. I took a whole class in collage devoted to the topic, but I never stop feeling for the victims of that atrocity exhibition.

  • LinTaylor ✓vitrified

I’m sure he’s not even going to respond to this. He’s just going to look away and pretend that 1) he didn’t say something colossally stupid and offensive, and 2) he didn’t get his narrow backside handed to him on a silver platter. Because as I’ve said many times in the past, Touré is a Toolé.

  • lesterwink23

Gotta hand it to Toure…just when you think he can’t get any more condescending and despicable, he finds a way to outdo himself

    • Kimihiro Watanuki

I think he scraped a hole clean through the bottom of th barrel. We’re now seeing grass and dirt.

      • Toastrider

I am reminded of Roger Ebert’s remarks about an execrable Tom Green film, ‘Freddy Got Fingered’:

“This movie doesn’t scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn’t
the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn’t below the bottom of the
barrel. This movie doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.”

  • David Nicoli

Pretty soon half of MSNBC programming will be apologies for the the stupid crap they say on the other half of MSNBC programming

    • Kimihiro Watanuki

Them apologize?! I wouldn’t take that bet, David. They’re too committed to their ideology.

  • DG

Toure is a HUGE bigot and racist and needs to be held accountable by MSNBC for this filth! I’m so sick and tired of being called racist and every other bad thing in the book by Liberals simply because I’m a Conservative while degenerate racists like this Liberal filth and others like him are given free passes. Enough is enough!!!!

    • Patrick Klocek

I say leave him on. He embarrasses himself and exposes the Left for what it is: a batch of hate-filled, race-baiting, wannabe-totalitarian despots.

    • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

But slavery was, like so 200 years ago, dude!
Not only that, but there’s far more evidence that the Holocaust actually happened than slavery. Yet these dufuses build a platform on being the only persecuted group ever and hint that the Holocaust didn’t happen or was overstated.

      • DG

My maternal grandfather was one of the first Americans to enter Germany towards the end of the war and saw a couple of the camps. He rarely discussed his experiences during his life, but towards the end of his life, he did talk about the Holocaust and what he saw there.

He had seen a lot of war and battles and the horrors of it leading up to that point, but he said he wasn’t prepared for what they ultimately encountered.

While the sights were over-powering and shocking, he said what haunted him the most for the rest of his life was the aromas, the smells. It was the over-whelming stench of death and decay that stuck with him. It was powerful and you couldn’t escape it. He said it permeated everything.

        • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

Anyone even questioning whether that happened or diminishing it by crying “white privilege” should expect a swift punch to the throat, or spinning back kick to the crotch.
          It’s unacceptable.

            Amen.

        • Nyota Uhura

God bless your granddad. I have heard similar things from other vets who were there.

And yet, this is “white privilege.”

        • Nonameworks

An older Jewish friend who later became a reknowned medical researcher was in the US infantry in Europe and on patrol when he literally stumbled into one of the concentration camps (which the officers apparently knew about). He had a camera with him and took pictures. An officer confiscated the film, but he had another roll he had already shot. I saw the pictures in his apt in NY about a decade ago, before he passed away.

Hard to comprehend the impact this had on this smart Jewish man who saw first hand what Hitler and his accomplices had done.

I’m with some of the twitter comments above.

I wonder how lefties perfect such arrogant, and yes, dangerous, ignorance?

          • tedlv

Toure Syndrome: “A psychological disorder that causes a black man to shout out accusations of racism for no apparent reason.”

  • Marsh626

White privilege and Jewish privilege are quite real. Just not in the sense that liberals suggest. They believe that Whites (including White Jews) are helping each other out and systematically discriminating against non-Whites (the exact opposite is of course happening in White Western countries thanks to affirmative action). In reality, the real advantage that Whites are born with are their genes. Whites are born with higher average IQs than everyone besides Northeast Asians (Northeast Asian privilege). And White Ashkenazi Jews have the highest average IQ scores out of any ethnic group in the world. But liberals don’t want to acknowledge that the widely observed racial IQ gaps exist and that they matter because it explains why brown and black people tend to lag behind Whites and Northeast Asians since IQ correlates with a wide range of quality of life statistics.

But Phil Robertson said something and everyone in liberal land got offended.

  • ISurvivedaBlueState

You know how liberals are always calling for an “honest discussion” about race? Let’s talk about non-white privilege for once. Good lord, where does one begin? Obama gets elected w/ no experience because he’s black. TV personalities like Toure can spew the most vile hatred and get away with it, because ain’t nobody gonna confront a minority about *that*. Non-white college students get massively more freebies, funding and assistance than their peers. Non-whites shoot to the top of the resume pile because the company needs diversity. Companies and employers are going to bend over backwards to make a non-white person happy because nobody wants to get sued. In everyday life, white people (aside from maybe a few cranky senior citizens) also bend over backwards to be extra-polite to minorities because we’re socially conditioned to. The list goes on and on….but we can’t talk about that.

    • NRPax

          • CO2 Producer

Pretty interesting (ironic?) that much of Touré’s success stems from complaining about white privilege, so much so that he dropped his European last name to attract a bigger audience. In fact, complaining about white privilege and the plight of black people has become a cottage industry of sorts.

          • http://www.freedomreconnection.com/ FreedomRecon

Poor Toure’….he knows all about the “plight of the black man”. Having grown up having to attend that poor under-privileged inner city school, Milton Academy.

          • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Although, if you had HIS “corny” surname, you might be tempted to drop it too, in order to be taken seriously. Fair’s fair.

          • CO2 Producer

I take his one-word name as pretentious. If anything, Teh Touré amuses me ever-so-mildly because his name reminds me of the VW Touareg. Here’s a white one.

          • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

He’s named for Sekou Toure, one of those African Strong Man leaders of the Idi Amin/Emperor Bokassa/Robert Mugabe/Julius Nyerere type. Kinda tells you what sort of grounding in race relations he must have had, if that’s what his parents named him.

    • carla5731

It’s not privilege as much as emphasizing the right priorities. Bill Cosby has tried to make that point on several occasions but his audience doesn’t want to hear it and tells him to shut up.

Toure is stuck in a permanent victim loop (which is great for him because racism can be a lucrative industry) and insists upon holding everyone else down with him.

      • Nyota Uhura

Another post I wish I could upvote more.

Cosby said what everyone else of any color knows to be true: quite simply, in life, you must man up.

      • mike_in_kosovo

(which is great for him because racism can be a lucrative industry)

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do do not want to lose their jobs.” – Booker T. Washington

    • Kimihiro Watanuki

Here is the thing: 9 million + didn’t survive. Therefore, what Toure said was so utterly ridiculous and offensive.

I am not on Twitter so can someone explain how RTs work? Do a lot of people RT things that they are not “endorsing” but just want other people to see? Because this should be RT by anyone who reads it just so people realize how insane the left is.

    • DG

Yes, people do. A RT is not an endorsement always. You can also do what’s called an MT. “Modified Tweet” if it’s a long one and you want to add your comment to the same tweet. (Because of the 140 character limit).

      • MNWoman

  • PNWShan

Something else that Toure has overlooked: when Holocaust survivors came here, there was a lot of discrimination against Jews. Many businesses refused to serve them or hire them. They couldn’t join golf clubs or other organizations. In 1940s, European Jews were not considered privileged by any means!

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

And they were coming to a nation that, a mere six or so years before, wouldn’t have let them in– the shameful example of the SS St Louis, the ship full of Jews that were turned away as refugees. (The film Voyage Of The Damned from the 70’s was about this.)

      • NRPax

  • carla5731

Where, when, why and how is Toure?

  • Bklynnygirl

MSNBC’s racist Touré founded militant anti-white student paper.

MSNBC host Touré founded a student newspaper dedicated to black liberation theology while he was a college student attending Emory University from 1989 to 1992.

Touré’s flagship publication, The Fire This Time, lavished praise on famous anti-Semites, black supremacists, and conspiracy theorists whom Touré helped bring to campus. Before he became an intense-but-sardonic TV personality, Touré also decried “the suffocating white community” and defended a nationally famous fake hate crime.

“White” (with regards to Jews in the Holocaust) is completely incidental….. The fact is that the Jews were considered “racially impure”, and that was the principal motivation by the Nazis who set out to exterminate them…. It reveals how ignorant of history this simp really is!

    • Nahalban

Now that is just insulting to simps everywhere.

    • dogwonder

Bingo, his ignorance is astounding, Jews are not descended from Whites but Toure’s ignorance is astounding.

  • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Seen in the best light, and believe me it is no good light by any means, Niblets is seeming to be saying that once settled into this country, the Jews surviving the war “blended in” better in the segregated 40’s and 50’s– which is to say that a camp survivor could drink from a “white” water fountain if (s)he were in Florida, say.

Thus, because they are “white-skin-privileged,” with all their “invisible knapsack” contains, of course they were going to succeed! Haven’t all of you seen Eddie Murphy’s Undercover-As-A-White-Man piece for Weekend Update? They also had a Jewish establishment that would help them, and everybody knows, well y’know, wink wink nudge nudge, amirite amirite?

No, Toe Rag isn’t saying any of this aloud. But what else can you infer from his “the power of whiteness” snark? And the Left accuse US of dog whistling– yeah, right, they NEVER do it, they’ve told us so.

    • Nahalban

Oh how I hope you are right. We should continue to condemn those who are racist, but this crap with crying wolf every time you don’t agree with someone is disgusting and completely diminishes any fight against true racism.

          • Nyota Uhura

I believe it was mrspinky who said it best: Those who keep crying “racist” have diminished the term until it no longer packs a punch. Those of us in the “commenting classes” see it — but I do believe it’s translating into mainstream America. I’m hearing it in conversations I have in daily life.

          • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

George Orwell, Politics And The English Language, an essay from 1946, made the same point about the word “fascist.” Fat lot of good his observation did, since his essay is pretty much ignored in universities today, which is why people still use the word– two generations if not three have grown up since, and no one knows what the word means any more. As Orwell said, it’s basically used to convey “something not desirable” with no further explanation.

          • Tom Winegar

Yep, like the phrase, “I’m depressed” when all they are is unhappy because the Big Mac wound up being chicken nuggets or because someone got their hand caught in the garbage disposal and scraped their new manicure. The chronically depressed really appreciate the misuse, that was sarcasm.

It’s just privilege and without a color attached thank you.
There is only one race that have now become the privileged and they aren’t white, the rest of us just get in there and get it. Assuming privileged means getting what you want without having to work for it that is. Call everything racist and get lots of free stuff.

    • DG

Notice their “white privilege” did them no favors in Europe.

      • Nyota Uhura

Seems to me Adolf Hitler had the white-privilege thing pretty sewn up. Just look at the temper tantrum he threw over Jesse Owens’ wins at the 1936 Olympics. *paging Toure*

        • DG

Quite true. Also, a great deal of the Jewish Germans at that time were “privileged” in a way. Many of them were highly successful and quite wealthy at the time. The Nazi’s robbed their accounts and possessions and used them to fund their war machine.

Being white did not help them there then, and did not help the survivors later in America. Many of the survivors who came to America became successful because of hard work.

          • Nyota Uhura

A point willfully lost on the Toures of this world. Why, asks me … reminded of John Galt: “Your creed is life — what, then, is theirs?”

  • Larry Rappaport

This is unacceptable in any fashion. Toure thinks he’s safe with MSNBC speaking like this as the only condition we all should be aware of is the Black condition. That’s the last condition I’m worried about Toure. If no apology is forthcoming you need to have your ass handed to you……..IMO with your unregulated tripe its inevitable…..

  • dogwonder

More ignorance from the “Progressive liberal media” he is aware Hitler deemed the Jew polluted and not fit to live in Hitler’s pure white nation? Jesus wept what an ignorant bigot.

  • Tom Winegar

To some, anyone that works and pays their way in life had some sort of ‘hand up’ but then those with white privilege and racist on their lips prefer the ‘hand out’. White privilege is a myth when any intelligent person reads about the great equalizer, the Great Depression of 1929. Those that saved and spent wisely survived, those that lived on the edge spending wildly or maybe having more children than they could support struggled or died. Divisive anarchist types need a heaping helping of ‘Shut-the-fuck-up” so America can get back to being the worlds melting pot where race means going to the track. Learn the lesson from children who could care less what color they or their friends are.

    • Nyota Uhura

      Well said.

  • The_Kat ✓vilified

Instead of holding up Holocaust survivors who have overcome the atrocities as people to admire and respect, Toured thinks they are shameful? Unfortunately this is what the Democratic Party has come to – racist, bigoted a-holes. Every Jew in this country should flee the Democratic Party because Toured is the norm not the exception.
Amazing smackdown by @redsteeze. Libprogs don’t seem to get the stupidity of their statements until they have their noses rubbed in it. @redsteeze went beyond rubbing Toure’s Caucasian nose in it, he wiped the floor up with him.

  • Tom Winegar

I sure wish scholars would get off the fence on the word racist. Some side with the common use of it and the more intelligent ones believe that some real attempt at denying ones rights based on race must take place. To be racist one must take part in racism.

  • jdubya_az

I think this may just be the MOST bigoted statement ever uttered by a person who is paid to sit on a chair, stare at a camera, and read what he is prompted to say.
I do believe he was not prompted to say this, this is from his heart because he is a black progressive and is paid to say such sensational things. Not because he has to, but because he WANTS to. He is a classic racist. His hatred towards white people has not barrier and those who were enslaved by Progress Democrat Socialists of Nazi Germany are no better than the white men who founded this nation.
If the person had said the same and was a conservative black male, Toure would still justify calling him out in racial epithets because that is what he is.

No one will call for his termination. MSNBC lives by this sort of vitriol. It caters to such an ever shrinking audience, that soon the last 100,000 people or so, regardless of skin color will be all about the Progressive Social Democrat agenda, the only thing that would separate them from the Nazis would be a diverse skin color, but their minds would still be alike.

They should drop it. Does the Klan get a channel? These guys have Sharpton, who is worse.

  • Tom Winegar

I challenge everyone to watch the WWII documentary “The World at War” (1973) and pay special attention to the episodes “A New Germany: 1933-1939”, “Occupation: Holland – 1940-1944” and “Genocide: 1941-1945”. The opening of the first episode that is continued at the end of the last episode, “Remember” dealing with the extermination of the French town of Oradour-Sur-Glane and gives an idea of what powerful Communist Democrats would wish upon the rest of us if they are ever able to accomplish their ends.

  • Jake Bradford

Plus, persecution of Jews didn’t begin and end in Nazi Germany. It’s been going on since pre-Roman times. By the end of Rome’s empire, Jews in Europe were like an outcast race.

It’s going on in the Ukraine right now.

It’s going on at universities in America right now.

Germans are white, and Jews are white… Anything about “whiteness” is a moot point and just trying to stir up fighting and hatred. Oh and the “white man” freed the slaves, and another white man tried to keep them down and as slaves! Race doesn’t matter!

    • tedlv

The dems are still enslaving them by convincing them they have no brains, no skills, and no abilities, so therefore they need to be suckling the government teat and have free abortions. Dems are disgusting.

      • tedlv

Edit: they can have free abortions thanks to the genocidal beliefs of the founder of planned parenthood.

        • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

Just in case the deniers start coming around, here’s a little evidence to back that up. The picture is Margaret Sanger addressing a meeting of democrats.

I never really understood the concept of “white privilege.” Seems like a term made up so certain nonwhites can compensate for their failures. I mean, it’s just so much easier to accuse the system of being against you than to accept your own shortcomings.

This isn’t the 1950s anymore. There is no more white privilege. Every aspect of the country is set up to advance nonwhites at the expense of whites. Every organization is infused with anti-discrimination or diversity measures that accepts/hires/promotes less qualified nonwhites over more qualified whites. And yet the system is supposedly against nonwhites? It’s not whites getting special treatment like affirmative action, minority-only scholarships, low-interest loans, special government contracts, charities devoted to uplifting them, etc.

Jews are successful because they are smart and productive. In fact, they are the smartest and most productive peoples on earth. Every statistic proves this. Toure just seems bitter because their success reaffirms his own inferiority.

  • tedlv

And yet it says it anyway.

  • Beentheremovedaway

Please delete this.with amount of hate for conservatives out there. Truly this doesn’t help.thank you

Do you really think that helps or advances debate and conversation in any good way? That’s a horrible word to use, and no self-respecting person of compassion and intelligence ought to be using it.

  • terryhjones

if this Toure guy believes the stuff he spouts he qualifies as delusional. if he’s just saying it to stir crap, get attention and be on the telly, well, i don’t have the words to describe what an ass he is. either way, there’s no benefit to anyone (except Toure) of his being on the air.

  • Donny Zunker

Toure was schooled at the “Milton Academy” which costs $37,500 a year.. yes you read that right, $37,500 a year. #WhitePrivilege http://www.redstate.com/diary/davenj1/2013/05/07/what-exactly-is-a-toure/

    • Acethepug

Pity he didn’t actually LEARN anything while he was there.

      • Conservative First

He was to busy working on his racist anti-semitic rag at the Academy.

  • mackykam

The difference between Jews and blacks( aside from intelligence [as per Toure’])is simple:
Jews were worthless as slaves, just their possessions had value.
Blacks have worth as slaves, their possessions are worthless.

    • mzk1_1

Oh, no, let’s not get into racism here.
PS – Jews were very valuable as slaves ,because the people who captured them know the other Jews would ransom them.

      • mackykam

Ergo, they weren’t slaves, they were captives.

        • Donnie Mac Leod

You should read more about the History of what those Jews were used for after being captured and slavery was a certainly part of that History .

          • mackykam

No different than any other captives except that captors knew Jewish communities would do anything possible o ransom them. And yes, my parents, aunts, uncles and in-laws were all enslaved by the Nazis. But first they despoiled them of their worldly goods, the children they disposed of, along with their mothers, and the rest they starved or attempted to starve to death because they didn’t value their worth. Had they done so they would have enslaved them to work the Nazi war machine instead of trying to eradicate them. So yes, my original premise is still true. I don’t have to read this in history books, I heard the story first hand from the lips of these survivors.Tthank you for your snide remarks.

          • Donnie Mac Leod

They were used as slaves Mackyham & the able bodied did hard labour until their energy couldn’t keep them standing let alone working. My remarks were not meant to be snide as much as a dose of realism in light of the idea that because you are a captive that doesn’t make slavery mutually exclusive.. http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2013/03/04/nazi_labour_camps_more_widespread_than_thought_new_research_shows.html

I know the history , despise what it did to Jews and others who stood against such evil. What Toure is spreading from his reverse racism card pack of lies deserves the same disgust and resolve to put him in his place for his ignorance.

          • mackykam

I accept your apology that you did not intend your remarks to be snide and have a single point of reiteration. Slaves by definition can, and are bought and sold. Their progeny are born into slavery, too. The Nazis didn’t trade Jews. They demanded them of their conquered countries and for the most part were willingly hunted and handed over.

          • Donnie Mac Leod

Slaves are used for labour by a master who has complete control of the slave Mackykam. It doesn’t matter if they are bought or sold their labour has very little bearing on the fact that they are slaves to a master’s will.

  • notenoughtime

Why in the hell are we supposed to find anything relevant coming from a flaming racist so ignorant he only has half a name. Toure. Gee, how sophisticated, how intercontinental, how belligerent.

  • jr565

Toure talking about privilige is like John Edwards talking about two americas. Not sure who his parents were, but he attended prestigious boarding school and Emory college. So if we want to talk about privilige, Toure fits the bill. He got Run, from Run DMC to officiate his wedding.

Also, people should know that when he was at Emory college he founded a black newspaper founded on black liberation theology.

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/04/10/report-msnbc-host-toure-founded-a-militant-anti-white-student-newspaper/

He also was involved in a Tawana brawley type racial hoax with a woman named Sabrina Collins who basically wrote racist graffiti and then blamed it on whites.

To which Toure responded: “In the aftermath THE POSSIBILITY THAT COLLINS HERSELF PERPETRATED THE
CRIME HAS SEEMED TO MINIMIZE THE INCIDENT’S IMPORTANCE. IN ANALYZING THE
EVENT’S IMPORTANCE TO EMORY, IT IS NOT AT ALL IMPORTANT IF COLLINS DID
    IT.” and
“Just because this particular incident didn’t happen doesn’t mean we
don’t get to talk about racism in Emory or in society. Or that we forget
the tragic things that happen to black people. The point there was, she
may have done this to herself, but this in no way suggests that racism
    does not exist.”

In other words, he’s ok with lying and spreading the racial smear so long as it furthers his America is racist agenda. Fuck him.
And people think Eich should be fired? No, THIS guy should be fired. He’s a fraud and a racial arsonist.

Toure attended a white privilege prep school and then turns and pretends to have had it hard? What a hypocrite and vile individual. His remarks are highly offensive and he should lose his job over this latest hate speech.

  • tops116 ✓Quipper

Interesting how Toure is in favor of descendants of slaves long dead getting reparations and yet denigrates living survivors of the Holocaust.

Disgust and derision are not enough. With Sterling and Eich as precedents, we need to get him fired and hounded from polite society. No apologies or contrition, feigned or real, should persuade us to remotely relent until his career is destroyed.
This is the rule the MSNBC types want for us; let us apply it to them with vigor.

    • Wazoo2u2

He has been- he’s on MSNBC, and has to give the cameraman ‘favors’ to stay awake. His mom watches from time to time, but that’s about it.

  • Minicapt

Toure, the niblet amongst the corn.

    Cheers

  • Elizabeth Bennett

This man is so mentally and emotionally invested in his hatred of whites that he has allowed his soul to become completely diseased with bitterness. He seems so frustrated that he has never really suffered a miniscule of perceptible racism, that he has become psychotically obsessed with a boogie man called ‘white privilege.’ He has no business raising children.

  • Victoria Richardson

What in the flippin hell is going on with all the Anti-Jewish sentiment. Mackelmore dressed up as a caricature of a Jewish man then Toure with his anti-Semite remark about so-called white privilege of Holocaust survivors, that’s such a disgraceful and disgusting remark. And both of these instance’s are on the left. I wonder if Toure knows that many homosexuals were also put to death in the Holocaust. If he is so pro-gay rights, that comment he just made could land him in hot water with the gay community as it should. Both the Jewish Community, Gay Community, Gipsy Community and everybody else for that matter should boycott MSNBC.

  • NonPCconservative

Living where MSNBC is not available (and not sought) I had never heard of Toure before today. Now I’m glad.

  • Cory

Why do you people give Toure any press? He’s obviously trolling for attention and sure enough conservatives give it to him lol.

    • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

For the purpose of shining a light on the raging hypocrisy that is leftists calling US racists with no tangible evidence to back it up.

      • Cory

Toure represents Toure, and he does a great job of getting his name out there. Can’t hate on him for that. Your outrage keeps him employed.

    • mzk1_1

It’s not Toure, it’s MSNBC, which employs a genuine Nazi named Sharpton.

      • Cory

Who watches MSNBC? There are probably more conservatives that pay attention to Toure than liberals. Also Toure can’t be a Nazi, he’s black. Nazi’s hate minorities.

  • JR48

It’s absolutely stunning see such blindness in this man’s bigotry. Literally no empathy at all.

  • beakt

Am I the only one that understand what Toure meant? He didn’t mean to say that surviving or being in the Holocaust was white privilege. That doesn’t make sense. He must have meant that the survivors, once they came to America, were able to prosper even starting from nothing because they were white, implying that a non-white person coming at the same time and starting with nothing couldn’t have done so well because of racism. So all the responses and pictures and all that in response might make the posters feel good about themselves, hammering this Toure guy who is genuinely a fool, but it’s missing the point.

    • fragglerock61

You are right, the real issue is the assumption that blacks are so inferior that they would have been incapable of rising above such hardship, and that the only reason these holocaust survivors did so was because they were white. Because, as we all know, every white family that came through Ellis Island got a million dollars and a mansion on the Upper West Side, just because they were white. The real issue is that trivializing a person’s struggles simply because of their skin color is base ignorance and definitively racist, the very thing people like Toure and his ilk are constantly whining about. Also, I dare say that as far as atrocities go, the Holocaust trumps American slavery/segregation.

    • Corey Dennison

Yeah…that explanation made about as much sense as Toure’s original rant did.

      Which is to say, none.

    • Frank DiSalle

Except if you’re a non-white person from Africa, or a black person from the Caribbean, you’ll do better than your “African American” brothers*, and that’s a fact, Jack!

      * Until the 1960’s, blacks who migrated North did better than their brothers they left behind in the South. Of course, things changed in the 60’s – Thanks, LBJ!

      • mzk1_1

And they had a low crime rate. Sorry, Stormfront!

    • CountMahdrof

In response I give you John Conyers – longest serving member of Congress and a black man. If he’s too recent, how about Thurgood Marshall, born 1908? Tourette’s point is not valid as there are many, many examples of blacks prospering in the racist environment Tourette decries. Was it harder for them? Probably. But don’t tell the poor Appalachian widow with 6 kids about “white privilege”.

    • mzk1_1

I’m not a survivor, just some guy who grew up Jewish in New York, and I took one of those skewed, biased, “privilege tests” – and guess what? I came out “not privileged”. Imagine how it must have been for them. And there was a lot of outright anti-Jewish discrimination then.

And you are correct, but so what? It’s insensitive and ignorant. A lot of people have been tarred with the racism brush for far less; ask Jimmy the Greek who actually meant well. You Don’t Joke Around with the Holocaust.

  • Sean Minturn

So, what is it, lefties? Be an anti-semite and defend him, or be a racist and denounce him?

  • LegalizeShemp

Let’s invite Toure to tour a Velcro factory, and hopefully, he’ll never be seen again!

They also hoped off their boats in Palestine and promptly seized the modern and prosperous cities like Tel Aviv from the noble and peaceful Palestinians who had built up that modern land before the Jews stole it — using their white privilege.

    • mzk1_1

Worse, after they built those businesses ,the “race rioters” came and destroyed them. Read the local Baltimore report on the so-called “King riots” and see who the victims were.

PS – Quite a number Black people actually took to the streets to dissuade the rioters; unfortunately, the Toure’s and Sharpton’s won the day.

  • Patrick Klocek

The black community should be the most outraged about this because Toure’ claims to speak for them all. He needs to be shamed off the public stage. Slink off to his fantasy land where white people never existed and never be seen again.

      You’re right.

    • ejochs

Toure is a perfect example of why Affirmative Action doesn’t work. He is a racist POS who is where he is ONLY because of his skin color.

  • CountMahdrof

Silly name-challenged man isn’t even aware that as many whites as blacks have been enslaved over the ages. The very name was derived from a chronically-enslaved group of white Europeans. When reparations are mentioned, make sure you get your share. Any African-American that may have descended from Moors must pay.

  • Southern Yankee

Toure who graduated from Ted Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy’s alma mater the Milton School is not privileged because he is black. Milton costs $49,000 per year.

In fact most media outlets will not hire you unless you can prove to them that you are a clueless, self absorbed Dumbass. In college Dumbass’s will openly protest to block the hiring of any nondumbass. So let’s talk about the real problem.

Here’s a history lesson for Toure: Liberalism and Socialism lead to the gulag and death camp, always.

  • Suzyqpie

I think Cher and Toure are in a surreptitious contest to see who can achieve the greatest asininity.

  • mzk1_1

I’m not a survivor, thank Heaven my grandparents came to the US around 1900. But I took one of those biased, stupid “privilege” tests, and guess what? I came out as “not privileged”. That’s without the background of the survivor.

People like Toure judge people by the color of their skin, not anything meaningful.

Wow, I never thought of my wonderful uncle Werner Reich as having “white power” before Mr. Toure’s “amazing” comment…

Given that MSNBC employs an actual anti–Semitic (and racist) provocateur with blood on his hands (Sharpton), this is nothing.
It’s not Toure that should be fired; all cable operators should drop MSNBC, the Nazi channel. Maybe Stormfront could sponsor them.

  • mzk1_1

Oh, yes, and should we mention that one of the main results (if not aims) of the so-called “race riots” of the 60’s was to destroy the businesses built up by Holocaust survivors?

  • kkb55

Let him keep talking, I have confidence that even committed liberals will wake up and realize this kind of talk is lunacy.

    • linnilu

      Pollyanna! :)

  • CharacterHasNoColor

But NBC wants to know only one thing: “How’s them ratings numbers!!!?”

    • Dungeonmaster Jim

Were that true MSNBC would have been shuttered long ago.

  • gold7406

With comments like that toure is sure to be given a promotion and raise from msnbc and a fist bump from the state department.
He will become al jazeera’s favorite guest very soon.
Radio iran has already offered him a job.
They said it couldn’t be done, but yes folks, msm has found another one dumber than dirt.

  • stuckinIL4now

Touré is the example of the downside of allowing free speech–the freedom to make yourself look and sound like a total blankin’ asswipe.

    • http://1389blog.com/ 1389AD

Too bad he doesn’t seem capable of comprehending that he has done so.

  • Lindakl

Toure’ nickname for racial tourettes syndrome.

  • Dirk Agia

Why is everyone surprised? “While a student at Emory University, Touré founded the school’s black student newspaper, The Fire This Time,[7] which has been criticized for being militantly anti-white.[8][9] The Daily Caller took issue with the fact that the publication only solicited donations from blacks, and that its articles praised noted anti-Semites, black supremacists, and conspiracy theorists such as H. Rap Brown and Frances Cress Welsing, whom Touré invited to Emory’s campus. The Caller also criticized Touré’s use of a hoaxed hate crime at Emory as a rationale for a list of demands against the university, even after the crime’s ostensible target, Sabrina Collins, admitted that her accusations were a hoax of her creation. Touré defended The Fire This Time as “an important black voice on campus” and “a form of community building.”9Wikpedia

Please remember that this network fired Pat Buchanan for a lot less and instead has this nitwit and Al Sharpton on!

  • TocksNedlog

Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Chuck Schumer set to publicly condemn Touré’s comments in 3, 2, NEVER

  • Freedom Rides Again

I am humbled by the take down of Toure by the twitter posters. God Bless You ALL!

  • dogwonder

Perhaps he should visit the Holocaust memorial, the Jews were sent to camps because they weren’t white “Enough” for the socialist elites.

  • PatriotRG

I would like to correct the people who have said f*ck you to Tourettres Syndrome as I call him. It should be more like f*ck you Tourettes Syndrome twice with a sharp stick.

  • Ed Walden

Can we ban MSNBC and CBS? They are both an embarrassment to the world.

  • HerculesLoadmaster

Toure thought of the day…There is so much white privilege that Guam is going to tip over pretty soon.

  • PatriotRG

The comment is what one would expect from a person that comes from slaves and has an inferiority complex that can never be removed. He will always come from slaves. Nice suit , nice job , white lefty girlfriend etc etc , but sill a slave chip on the shoulder the size of Manhattan.

So he gets a pass, as his so called grievance (black chiefs selling their own people in to slavery then ultimately freed by 100,000 of dead white people in the civil war) supersedes , a mere 6 million murdered white people in his warped mind.

All of this crazy inferiority complex paranoia against white people is nicely stoked by the left and by race hustlers.

Toure is just a mouth. The real shark is Rev Jackson shaking down the banks and now silicon valley. That’s reparation in their eyes.

  • Damian

I have no idea who this Toure guy is, but I disagree with apparently everyone about this. The original tweeter (?) was comparing their (note the emphasis!) LEGAL immigration to the U.S. and subsequent success to other immigrant struggles. This Toure guy is just pointing out that the racism present here in the U.S. has always made it easier for whites to succeed. So don’t be so quick to compare yourself to the minority immigrants. I’m sorry to burst your bubble: your success may not have been solely due to your alleged hard(er) work! If you were/are white in America, you have very likely benefitted from the racism and segregation that continue to this day and you should think twice before using your own individual immigration story as a measuring stick. Also, he said nothing specifically about the Holocaust, his “get off your high horse” snarky response was directed at the immigration to America portion of that tweet. And I’m sick of all this demanded apology shit. He’s entitled to his opinion. No apologies!!!

    • betzinva

Can you actually READ?? Since he tagged a message mentioning concentration camps with his white privilege crack he WAS specifically saying something about the holocaust. Really Damian, are you trying out to be Jay Carney’s replacement for biggest scat spinner in the world? I don’t care if he apologizes, most apologies these days are face saving BS. I’d also rather know someone’s a bigoted twat waffle than have to wonder.

      • Damian

So…someone has an opinion that is not the same as yours……so they must not be able to read? Fuck you, you cancerous tumor having mother fucker. I digress. I maintain that his comment was directed at the immigration aspect of the tweet. You could fill in the blank with any atrocity, “my family survived _____ and came here legally blah blah, success, blah blah”. Had it been a white person tweeting it, he likely would’ve had the same response. But once you mention the holocaust, everyone freaks out and gets super sensitive. I couldn’t care less how ANYONE feels about the holocaust. Or MSNBC. Or Godzilla. Or Kim and Kanye. People need to stop giving a fuck about what other people think so much. Some TV douche expresses his opinion and because it’s insensitive or straight offensive, or just plain dumb, people want blood. Get over yourself. And I never wonder: I assume everyone is a twat waffle. Also, I truly do wish cancer on you for coming at me with hysteria instead of discussion.

  • Donnie Mac Leod

A former Great President of the US of A described Toure’s arrogant ignorance and stupidity rather well. “Better to be thought of as a fool then to open your keyboard and remove all doubt,” for every person that can read his foolish comments around the world. Yup I know Lincoln died before modern keyboards but the hyperbole suits the message.

I took my family to Dachau Concentration Camp on a trip to Europe in 2006; I grew up with a “left over Nazi” father in Norway (he was in prison for two years after the war for his Nazi sympathies, but he never stopped being a Nazi), but NEVER believed the crap that spewed out of his mouth day in and day out – I was born years after the war, but his hatred against Jews was just as strong. To those denying the Holocaust or the fool saying whites had “privilege” during their stay at concentration camps, I say this: walk around a former concentration camp, and read the displays, see and study the horrific pictures, walk through the gas chambers, stand in front of the horrific crematory ovens – and feel! Really feel what the grounds, the buildings, the displays are telling you. If you have any feelings at all, tears will run down your cheeks like they did mine…

Holocaust denial? Crazy and evil, and in my book, as evil as the Holocaust itself was. Millions of people died; there was NO white “privilege” during the Holocaust. If you were Jewish or any other undesirable minority, if you were homosexual, college professor, politician who refused to join the Nazis in the occupied countries, or any other free thinking person who refused to accept the Nazis if they found out that you worked against them, you were sent to these horrific camps; being “white” did nothing to help those poor souls.

So sad that haters like this Touré guy are taking part in this kind of hate-mongering – but I guess it fits into Touré’s skewed view of the world. So sad and SO wrong.

  • Katia

I’m certain he meant it as a compliment. As in they got back up and kept going instead of lying in the gutter crying for someone else to take care of them. The power of whiteness indeed.

So sad that haters like this spread this kind of hogwash. This Touré guy is a hate-monger; too bad that he is on the airways spreading this kind of hate. Must have a very lonely and narrow-minded life while he tries to justify his own insecurities by with hatred of others…

  • john huscio

as someone whose grandfather landed at normandy and later was part of the forces who liberated more than one of these camps and who saw firsthand what went on there, toure can suck a fat one.

  • Arkuy The Great

Time for an email bomb campaign to MSNBC to can this half-breed. If an insensitive remark in private was enough to dispossess someone of an NBA franchise then serial racist and anti-Semitic remarks made in public are due cause for banishment from all public life. I maintain that any healthy society would have vomited out poison like Toure decades ago.

  • Tom Armstrong

Toure on MSNBC = power of black privilege in America today.

    • http://www.FireKarlRove.com/ C. Edmund Wright

      AMEN, preach it!

  • Sheri Willis

    Toure’, YOU are an ass!

  • Snookyjack50

Toure, you little flea, over 600,000 soldiers died in the civil war for freedom of blacks. How many of you would do that for Jews? You are a disgusting piece of humanity.

  • bobbyt1964

My family came to the US (Legally!) to escape fascism and made a good life here. Me and every middle-class Italian-American wants to know: Does “white privilege” work even when we’re not white? I guess not – Toure makes more money for doing whatever he does than my whole hard-working family grosses put together…

  • GI Joe

As a healthcare provider I am concerned for this mans’ (Toure) mental health. This smacks heavily of magical thinking which is a symptom of a very serious mental disorder. Sure hope he has no guns!

Recognizing that free markets may not supply adequate law enforcement does not imply that free enterprise should be cast aside in other instances as well.
