A leading Democrat was on Meet the Press Sunday morning asking cleverly-phrased “questions” about whether the Kremlin has a hold over President Trump.
Keep in mind, this is Rep. Jerry Nadler, who is in line to become the next chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

Remember that time Democrats wanted voters to believe that they weren’t going to go straight for impeaching Trump if they won back the House?
That was a good one.
Jerry Nadler says the revelation that Cohen lied to Congress amounted to proof that Russia had "leverage" over Trump during the 2016 campaign.
"The fact that [Trump] was lying … and the Kremlin knew he was lying gave the Kremlin a hold over him." https://t.co/hknoNeK6fZ

January is now a month away.
And it looks as if the impeachment argument against the 45th president is set to begin based on this line: “It may be.”
