Blue wave? Not so fast! New poll includes a very encouraging result for the GOP

Democrats may need a refund on their blue wave order.

Yes, this poll is from CNN, but it does shed some interesting light on the 2018 midterm elections, particularly a question about how well things are going in the country today.

As numbers guru Nate Silver points out, this kind of sentiment indicates that maintaining control of the House of Representatives this year is still a very real possibility for Republicans.

The survey also showed that President Trump has a 41 percent approval rating as of now.

Here’s where we are in May. It will be interesting to see how these numbers change the closer we draw to November.
