Mollie Hemingway is 'still annoyed' at Rod Rosenstein for his PATHETIC 'extortion' claim

Mollie Hemingway is still annoyed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s claim that he doesn’t need anyone to tell him what to do.

"I'm accountable to no one, including the entity that created and funds my agency. When they ask for information as part of their oversight responsibilities, I claim that they're trying to extort me." (Yes, as an American, I'm still annoyed by this.)

“There have been people that have been making threats, publicly and privately, against me for quite some time, and I think they should understand by now: The Department of Justice is not going to be extorted,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said during an appearance at the Newseum in Washington. “Any kind of threats that anybody makes are not going to affect the way we do our job. We have a responsibility and we take an oath. That’s the whole point.”

Mr. Rosenstein, you work for the American people. Period.

What a claim. Not a person in any federal agency or elected office is accountable to no one. To suggest otherwise displays extreme arrogance and contempt for the Constitution, as well as checks and balances.
