CNN’s initial instinct when reacting to the horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida was to put together a farce of a town hall, which temporarily helped now disgraced Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.
Michelle Malkin hasn’t forgotten the network’s first response.
Imagine if CNN had engaged in reporting FIRST before rushing to organize a politicized, Kabuki town hall that prematurely lionized the grandstanding, lying Broward Coward Sheriff.
Now they're trying to compensate.

As of Sunday, CNN anchor Jake Tapper is asking the tough questions. But to Malkin’s point, where were these questions last week, and why didn’t he ask them at the town hall?
