Fake news alert: Sean Spicer calls out NBC for reporting a false White House statement

Sunday morning, NBC reporter Angie Goff, reported the following statement as released from the White House.

The only problem is that it was never released by the White House. In fact, the White House has yet to release any statements during the Trump administration.

So White House press secretary Sean Spicer let the reporter and the world know about the error.

As you can imagine, supporters were quick to pounce on NBC as once again spreading fake news.

Apparently, it doesn’t bother the network too much because several hours later, Goff tweeted a correction under the guise of “MORE INFO.”

Will the media ever learn? And they wonder why no one trusts them.
