In response to a tweet from The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra calling the crowd at the Alabama-LSU game “Real America,” former Breitbart spox Kurt Bardella tweeted that “According to the UN: Alabama has the worst poverty in the developed world. 15% of residents are illiterate. 6th worst state in healthcare. “That’s @realDonaldTrump’s ‘real America'”:

Oh, and his tweet is totally wrong, too. Here’s the fact check from @AG_Conservative:
This was not a UN report, it was a statement made by one idiot who works at the UN based on “environmental degradation” he saw on a tour of one poor neighborhood in AL.

It really isn’t a good look:
There is no "real America". People in CA are not any less American than AL, they just disagree. But these ignorant attempts to insult and look down on people you disagree with are not helpful.
Especially when you use information that's intentionally misleading.

Want to hate Trump? Have fun. But, at the very least, read the study you’re quoting:
But that's what happens when you start with a conclusion only look for information that fits your preferred narrative. You find a stat or headline like 15% are illiterate and don't bother to even look at what the same study said about states you are trying to claim are better.
