Yikes.
A 74-year-old woman was rescued by the Phoenix Fire Department on Tuesday, but it was anything but smooth. Check out the wild ride she goes through as they struggle to get the rescue basket into the helicopter:

According to reports, a second line broke that prevents the helicopter’s downwash from spinning the basket:
During a news conference Tuesday afternoon, officials said during the hoist rescue, a line that was supposed to help prevent the spinning didn’t prevent it, and that the phenomenon is known in the hoist rescue industry. Officials also said similar incidents have happened in the past, and that procedures were done to try and stop the spin.
They also say the woman wasn’t injured by the wild ride, which is good news:
