A mass shooting occurred at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, Calif., this morning with reports now coming in that the suspected gunman is dead with 11 others shot, including a Ventura Country Sheriff’s Deputy:

29-year veteran Sergeant Ron Helus died at the hospital following the mass shooting at a California bar.

11 victims inside the bar. Ventura Sheriffs Sergeant Ron Helus died at the hospital, and the shooter is also dead.

According to reports, the gunman entered the country and western bar and opened fire, first on a bouncer at the door and then at other staffers before making his way inside:
