Hundreds of Honduran migrants broke through a fence on the Guatemala-Mexico border this afternoon as the caravan of thousands continues its march to the United States:

The migrants then clashed with Mexican border officials, who reportedly fired tear gas at the group:
Those two grey, armored Jeep J8 that migrants have been climbing on at the Guatemala-Mexico border were likely bought by the US government. According to a 2015 Rand Corp report, the US gave 42 to a Guatemalan inter-agency border task force in Tecun Uman.

The caravan breached the gate on the Mexico side of the bridge and @jameslfredrick have moved further back. Heard about six detonations that sounded/look like tear gas but we are too far to confirm.

But the officials soon relented and are now letting the caravan cross into Mexico:

At stop in Arizona, President Trump once again vowed to use the military to stop the caravan at the U.S.-Mexico border:
