Pharmaceutical giant Novartis has issued a statement in regard to reports that the company paid Trump lawyer Michael Cohen for consulting work related to health care in 2017, and to be quite honest, it’s hilarious.
First up, the company says the contract was for $100,000 a month for a period of 12 months:

But the company was not happy with Cohen and says he did not provide the “anticipated services”:

And according to the company, they only met with Cohen once before trying to cancel the contract…

…but, SURPRISE!
Because Michael Cohen is a better lawyer than the Novartis lawyer, Cohen still got paid the full amount of the contract despite doing nothing at all:

Hecuva job there, Novartis.
