'I live for my truth': Lena Dunham doubles down after American Airlines can't substantiate her story

Just to follow up on Lena Dunham’s accusing two flight attendants for American Airlines of transphobic comments, a spokesperson for American Airlines told Fox News that they can’t substantiate her story:

“We always look into complaints from customers, but at this time, we are unable to substantiate these allegations.”

Oh, but it gets worse for the HBO star. The Wrap reports that she wasn’t even in the American Airlines terminal:

Dunham tweeted around 3 a.m. ET, said the airline spokesperson, when American’s last departure/arrival at JFK was around 1:45 a.m. ET.

Additionally, a video that Dunham posted around the same time showed that the actress was flying on Delta Air Lines, which according to the spokesperson, doesn’t operate out of Terminal 8, whereas American Airlines does. The two are not connected, argued the spokesperson. You can see a map of the terminals here.

Dunham, however, doubled-down saying she only has to care about “my truth”:

And that it’s not her job to figure out why American Airlines flight attendants were in the wrong terminal at 3:00 a.m.:
