JetBlue is the latest airline to come under fire from the Twitter mob after this story about a family who claimed they were kicked off a flight from JFK to Las Vegas because of a birthday cake:
Unhappy birthday: Family kicked off JetBlue flight after dispute over cake in the overhead bin. https://t.co/G4aiwykAE7
— The Associated Press (@AP) May 14, 2017
Not mentioned in the headline, of course, is that the family allegedly cursed at the flight crew and refused to remove said birthday cake from an overhead bin filled with emergency equipment, but that doesn’t matter. The mob needs its story, including accusations of racism:
.@JetBlue since when did carrying a birthday #cake on a flight become a security hazard? I smell racism more than anything! Shame on you!

Add @JetBlue to the list: FA calls cops due to birthday cake dispute. Moral—there are no "good" airlines. Entire industry is a teardown. https://t.co/9pu16XGYOl
