KA-CHING: Daily Mail reportedly settles with Melania Trump

The Trumps win again.

According to CNN, the U.K.’s Daily Mail newspaper will pay Melania Trump $2.9 million in damages and legal costs to settle a lawsuit where the first lady charged that the publisher had made false and defamatory statements about her time as a model:

From CNN:

“We accept that these allegations about Mrs. Trump are not true and we retract and withdraw them. We apologize to Mrs. Trump for any distress that our publication caused her,” the Daily Mail and Mail Online said in a statement.
