Scary thought: was Trump right when he hinted the JCC bomb threats were false flag? https://t.co/9cMchMQAnz

It appears that the rise in anti-Semitic bomb threats to Jewish community centers in the U.S. and throughout Europe can to tied to a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen living in Ashkelon, Israel:
Crazy. Dual US-Israeli citizen behind most JCC bomb threat calls. https://t.co/PETbDYLra3

BREAKING: Suspect appears to be behind MOST, but NOT ALL of bomb threats, and may have acted alone, Father also arrested.

From the Jerusalem Post:
An 18 and-a-half year old dual US-Israeli citizen from Ashkelon has been arrested on suspicion of standing behind most of a series of bomb and other threats to Jewish communities ranging from the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand over the past six months, The Jerusalem Post has learned.
As of Thursday, with a gag order on the probe lifted by the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court, which extended his detention, sources indicate that most of the cases of threats against Jewish communities and organizations, though not all, led investigators back to Israel.

Update. FBI confirms:

According to the article, investigators have been looking at this guy as a suspect for over 6 months…
BREAKING: Investigation dates back 6 months to 1st threat in new zealand with all trails leading back to Israel, and eventually Ashkelon.

…which means all of the anger at the Trump administration for not doing enough to catch him was misplaced. Such as this letter to Trump and AG Sessions earlier this month:

And in other words, Trump was right when he questioned the narrative that it was his supporters behind the threats:
Antisemitic vandalism was committed by 18 year Israeli with US citizenship. Uncertain if he was Trump supporter. https://t.co/U8Zs4f5Vdc pic.twitter.com/nmnvSFMFjS

And Trump was right about the other suspect that’s been arrested, too:
JCC threats didn't come from an "alt-right White male Trump supporter" after all. https://t.co/cKxQzYw1ER pic.twitter.com/kKL5IWIaWU
