Here’s a great example of why we’ve lost confidence in the media.
Andrew Beatty, a reporter for AFP, writes on President Trump greeting FBI Director James Comey a few minutes ago at a White House reception for first responders and the Secret Service:
President Trump greeted FBI director Comey by saying he's become more famous than me, shook his hand.

Trump spotted FBI director Comey in the Blue Room and said 'he's become more famous than me' then gave him a bro hug.

TIME magazine’s Zeke Miller agrees:
Per TV feed, they also half-embraced in what could be described as a ‘bro-hug' https://t.co/d2wIM3X7Zc

A “bro hug.” Really? Here’s the video:

We’re not even sure that constitutes a hug, let alone the editorialized “bro hug.”

For comparison purposes, here’s how the president greeted Kanye West. His interaction with Comey, whatever you call it, wasn’t even as warm as with Kim Kardashian’s worser half:
All we ask is that these reporters, you know, report the news. Is that so hard?
