As we told you earlier, Fidel Castro-supporting San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was greeted by boos when he took the field against the Miami Dolphins earlier Sunday afternoon.
Well, that was pretty great but the game ended on an even better note when Kiko Alonso, whose father is Cuban, tackled Kaepernick short of the end zone thus securing the Dolphins the win:
Symbolic that a Cuban American, @Kiko__Alonso, would knock some sense into a Fidel admirer (@Kaepernick7)! #FinsUp #ConorStrut #47 pic.twitter.com/fnCOwt5ovB

Alonso intercepted Kaepernick earlier in the game as well as a fumble recovery:
Kiko Alonso with the interception of Colin Kaepernick. Alonso's dad is Cuban. Irony thick.

And this knocks the 49ers out of the playoffs:
The loss eliminates @49ers from the playoffs and ironically it's Kiko Alonso who delivered Chip Kelly the final blow #

In his press conference after the game, Kaepernick claimed that his earlier praise of dictatorial Cuba had been taken out of context:
