Former CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden was on “Morning Joe” Wednesday to talk Donald Trump and his fitness to be president, but it’s comments from host Joe Scarborough on Trump and the use of nuclear weapons that are making the rounds right now.
Specifically, Scarborough told a story of an unnamed foreign policy adviser who had met with Trump “several months ago” and during that meeting, Trump reportedly asked three times why the U.S. just can’t use its nuclear arsenal. The panel was speechless, interpreting Scarborough’s ominous warning as Trump not understanding how devastating the use of nuclear weapons would be in a conflict:

Fast forward to the 0:49 second mark for Scarborough’s comments:

Exit question: If Scarborough thinks this is really a disqualifying statement from The Donald, why did he sit on it for “several months”?!
