AWKWARD! California Democrat running for Congress served legal papers at his own victory party

Hilarious development in the race for California’s 44th Congressional District where Democrat Isadore Hall was served with legal papers at his victory party last night in San Pedro:

Only on CBS2 at 11p: Congressional Candidate Isadore Hall served legal papers at his own Election Party.

Apparently the lawsuit is over a real estate deal gone bad. The process server is on the left, Hall on the right:

But Hall’s legal problems won’t help the Republicans, however. He’ll take on Nanette Barragán in November, who is also a Democrat, under California’s relatively new “top-two” primary system:
