Well that escalated quickly.
New Donald Trump convention manager Paul Manafort accused the Ted Cruz campaign of using “Gestapo tactics” to secure delegates in states that Trump has won:
Uh-oh. Trump's Paul Manafort accuses Ted Cruz of "Gestapo tactics" in grabbing Trump's delegates. Katie, bar the door.

.@realDonaldTrump campaign manager Paul Manafort just accused @tedcruz's delegate operation of "Gestapo tactics."

So following the rules and having a ground game is now comparable to the Nazi secret police?
@LarrySabato @RedneckThink So when you follow the rules & work hard that is considered "Gestapo"?

On @meetthepress @PaulManafort says @tedcruz is using Gestapo tactics. Pure desperation!

Desperate is right:
Just about everybody's now accepted Trump must win 1,237 on 1st ballot. Too many double-agent delegates will melt away from DT on 2nd.

Trump whined about the “Bad system!” this morning as well:
I win a state in votes and then get non-representative delegates because they are offered all sorts of goodies by Cruz campaign. Bad system!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 10, 2016
Weird. Trump never talks about the non-representative delegates he has in winner-take-all state where he didn’t win a majority of the popular vote.
