Small businesses continue to be destroyed in New York thanks to continuous shutdown orders attached to constantly moving goalposts, and often the edicts make little sense:
New York is closing indoor dining on Monday.

And of course the shutdowns are causing financial hardships, and Janice Dean spotted the Gov. Cuomo campaign hosting a fundraiser with celebrities in order to help… get him re-elected:
Restaurants closing, kids out of school, families losing loved ones and livelihoods but @NYGovCuomo is going to celebrate his birthday with his celebrity friends and raise thousands of dollars for himself. PS for all of you defenders saying “but but it’s virtual!” the point was NOT about the event itself. It’s that @NYGovCuomo continues to raise money for himself while others are struggling to provide for their families.

Just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all from the governor’s office…
Wow…just wow!!! Move over John Edwards you've been unseated as the Biggest Douche in the Universe. https://t.co/YDMyEXWW0b

And then some!
Please tell me this is to raise money for all of those out of work, out of money or have lost loved ones.. I’ll wait….

Nope.

But remember, Gov. Cuomo suffers for every dollar small businesses are losing, all while he’s about to get a pay increase and is busy hawking a book about his leadership skills.
So shameful but remember if these people didn’t have double standards they’d have no stand at all shame on all of them. Haven’t been able to stomach most of them for years now.

There aren't many bright sides to the pandemic, but I think this is one: The once respected governor of New York has been exposed as a cruel, heartless and narcissistic piece of garbage. https://t.co/mCcIJ3F0lR

NY, you really okay with this? https://t.co/LeFcqZmvJT

Many aren’t, that’s for sure.
