Republican Sen. Marco Rubio’s letter to the Major League Baseball commissioner this week about his Augusta National Golf Club membership caught the attention of Megyn Kelly:
Read this @marcorubio letter. It’s spectacular. https://t.co/0HPvwc9MS8

That letter sparked a “Morning Joe” discussion that can be filed under “when you’ve lost MSNBC…”:

“This is a game that probably the White House and Major League Baseball wishes it hasn’t played at this point.” -Willie Geist https://t.co/lcY1a5nOUV

At the very least it would be nice for somebody at the MLB front office to just admit the decision was made without reading the bill and for the Biden White House to say they don’t care and are just trying to score cheap political points:
Because Joe Biden has a long 50 year career history of speaking without thinking then making himself look like an idiot who contradicts himself. Which makes him an idiot but we all knew that. https://t.co/8J3sSV8Adk

Let me help @POTUS & @MLB. You both said stupid things and made a stupid move. Just admit you were wrong and put the All-Star Game back in Georgia.
It's ok guys. Everyone knows you made a stupid move. https://t.co/6JxgAczRde

I can honestly say I never thought I would write this:
I agree with Joe Scarborough. @potus dropped the ball on the All Star Game and is now trying to use a Mulligan on The Masters.

Yesterday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki tried to distance President Biden from MLB’s decision to move the game out of Georgia, but the attempt was a big fail:
Yeah, it's hard to argue Biden wasn't a driving force behind the Georgia boycott when *MLB's own story on the decision* cites his remarks in the second paragraph. https://t.co/IZCGqsZhLK pic.twitter.com/RYtC86Y2Sm
