The Time 100 list of the “most influential” people in America is out, and one of those people is Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Sen. Elizabeth Warren offered praise for AOC in Time’s article this way, and it comes with a beverage warning:
.@ewarren on @AOC: “Her commitment to putting power in the hands of the people is forged in fire” #TIME100 https://t.co/rllPN0Dyes pic.twitter.com/WD49jEUjdR

Is it now? Oh, and what planet is Warren living on?
But I thought she was the boss??

I don't know…
"I'm the boss" & "I'm in charge" doesn't even rhyme with "power to the people!"

Oh yeah, what citizen didn’t feel more empowered when AOC reminded them who’s in charge?
‘I’M THE BOSS!’ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is at least trying with the Green New Deal, so she’s in charge https://t.co/fe7aJQckfd

"You try. You do it. Cuz you're not. Cuz you're not. So, until you do it, I'm the boss.' How about that?" – @AOC on her Green New Deal.
Ocasio-Cortez insists she's driving the discussion on climate change reform if no one else is willing to try. https://t.co/rquemuVA5u pic.twitter.com/c1TXcVnHQG

We feel SO empowered right now!
Always good to see women of color standing up for each other https://t.co/HOxaPDcR6I

Right?
The idea that @AOC wants the power in the hands of the people & not in her own or the government's is 1/2 laughable, 1/2 terrifying that media outlets & politicians keep trying to make us believe that nonsense. AOC is allergic to the ideas of personal choice and freedom #TIME100 https://t.co/LZSL7FTHva

The last thing a politician who pushes socialism cares about is “putting power in the hands of the people.”
