'Fake news' alert! Nancy Sinatra accuses CNN of lying about her opinion of Trump inaugural song

According to CNN, Nancy Sinatra isn’t happy about a song that’s to be played at the inauguration of Donald Trump:

CNN apparently based their headline on a deleted tweet from Sinatra:

CNN quoted what seems to be a now-deleted tweet from Nancy Sinatra that read “Just remember the first line of the song” in response to a question about her father’s song being used during the inauguration.

The first line of “My Way” is “And now, the end is near.”

Sinatra has made it clear she’s no fan of Donald Trump, but insists CNN got it wrong on that one.

Ironically, CNN is looking to employ somebody to call out purveyors of “fake news”:

Maybe they should hire Sinatra.

CNN’s been accused of peddling “fake news” a lot lately.
