Yesterday it was reported that 18 of 31 suspects who had at that point been ID’d in New Year’s Eve attacks on women in Cologne, Germany are in the country seeking asylum. The news puts a big damper on President Obama’s attempts to make everybody believe that refugees are “widows and orphans.”
Perhaps in an attempt to salvage the Left’s talking point about refugees, an op-ed columnist in the New York Times rode to the rescue:

The narrative is back on track: all those sexual assaults are really *Germany's* fault. https://t.co/pZghFhfkwM pic.twitter.com/WPQhtf9HQN

@CounterMoonbat why is it Germany's job to tell these scumbags to keep it in their pants and not rape women

They are most certainly NOT kidding you. Let's not be confused, "integration" does NOT mean "assimilation" either. @CounterMoonbat

Subtle bigotry, implies refugees are dumb, victims with no agency or responsibility to integrate themselves. https://t.co/SB8FadBapZ
