Dylan Mulvaney has cosplayed as a ditzy teen girl on TikTok for a full 365 days and threw herself a gala celebration at the Rainbow Room in New York City. We’re still hoping it’s fake, but Vice President Kamala Harris sent Mulvaney a letter of congratulations on the milestone. And as everyone now knows, Bud Light gifted Mulvaney with a can of beer featuring her face, commemorating 365 days of girlhood.
We figured this would blow up in Bud Light’s face, and it has. Anheuser-Busch released a statement that doesn’t make things much better — it says the can was a one-off gift that won’t be available for sale to the public; on the other hand, Anheuser-Busch made up a custom beer can and sent it to Mulvaney to celebrate one year of dressing up like a woman.
"Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan…

“… ‘From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public,’ said @budlight, a brand that thinks women are better if they are men.”
Brand influencer, huh?
Hogwash.

I turned 61 on December 30th. I didn’t get my picture on @budlight can.

We are no longer serving it and we know many who will not either.

And here I am, born actual woman, turned 49 one month ago today. Where's my commemorative can celebrating my personal milestone? Well @budlight??

Bud light is not a real beer. Dylan is not a real woman. In some twisted way, they deserve each other

@budlight @AnheuserBusch Possibly the most wordy CYA I've ever read. No dice … your products will never again cross my doorstep.

If you're so proud, make it available to the general public. Double dog dare ya.

@budlight Well, you sure found a reason for me to authentically DISconnect from you forever.

A personal milestone of still having a dick and mocking women @budlight Where is my special can for being born with a vagina? #BoycottBudLight

If you’re explaining, you’re losing. You didn’t think your brand influencer with a gazillion followers on TikTok wasn’t going to make this a big deal?
