School board really cracking down on parents, prohibiting them from criticizing specific board members

Tonight the Loudon County School Board in Virginia is having a meeting, and according to the agenda, more than 110 members of the public have signed up to speak:

Meanwhile, over at the Mankato Area Public Schools in Minnesota, the board is really clamping down on what parents are allowed to say and when they’re allowed to say it. Criticism of specific board members or school officials is off limits.

As Twitchy reported last week, Connecticut Senate Democrats shared a cartoon making it clear how they view parents:

We doubt this is the only school board that asks for speakers’ home addresses, just to ensure they’re actually in the school district. But the rest of these rules don’t seem very welcoming of public comment.
