This is a tragic story, but one that Women Against Gun Violence don’t seem to have read. People magazine reports that a Connecticut man shot his girlfriend’s two teenagers and then took his own life. That’s horrific.

For some reason, Women Against Gun Violence decided to go with the angle that the shooter was “a good guy with a gun” — until he wasn’t.
He was a “good guy with a gun” — until he wasn’t.
GUNS DON’T MAKE US SAFER. https://t.co/nCdiO8qaE2— WomenAgainstGunViol (@WAGV) December 5, 2019
Except, he wasn’t a good guy with a gun. He was convicted of first-degree unlawful restraint after an arrest on a sexual assault charge in 2007, and as a felon, it was illegal for him to own a gun. So we’re not sure where they got the “good guy with a gun” spin.
No he wasn't you idiots

This is so disingenuous. He was not a “good guy with a gun”. He was a convicted felon who wasn’t even allowed to have a gun and did illegally. Did you even read the article?

He was a felon.

He was a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing a firearm

Read the article morons.
He wasn't even allowed to own a firearm.

You know that 80% of firearm homicides are committed by people who illegally possess the weapon.
Did this person fit into that 80%?
What do you consider a "good guy"?

Anti-gun hysteria is time-consuming. We can't expect all of the gun-grabbers to get their facts straight before making emotional pleas for confiscations.
It's just not practical.
We must set our standards much lower when dealing with those who want to strip away our liberties.

Do you ever get tired of looking like imbeciles?

If only President Beto O’Rourke had gone house-to-house and taken everyone’s AR-15s this never would have happened.
