CNN already published their piece on how asthma inhalers contribute to a person’s carbon footprint, but TIME went the extra mile and made a video to show how asthmatics and their inhalers are “choking the planet.”

Time Magazine, you are seriously picking on people who need these life-saving inhalers to literally stay alive? Really? And using the word "choke" as a pun? Zero class. Zero. Shame on you. Really, shame. On. You. pic.twitter.com/n8U1ZtuCmL

Hey, quick question, and not especially urgent, so get back to me when you can, but when do you plan to fire the person responsible for this piece?
— authorblues, yesvember ambassador (@authorblues) November 9, 2019
the editor who ordered this to be created should legit be fired

So the answer is to target people with disabilities rather than those with the ability (and wealth) to actually do something about climate change?
— ZoombalaGC (@zoombalagc) November 7, 2019
They did it with straws. It's us asthmatics turn now.

If you love the planet and have asthma, I'm afraid it's time for you sacrifice yourself.

The richest 10% contribute half of the responsibility for climate change; consumers contribute a marginal amount compared to warfare and zoning, but sure, write an article about asthmatics needing to breathe, I guess.
— Paul R (@lbcyber) November 9, 2019
I say whoever made this is wasting more oxygen than all asthma inhalers combined.

I remember when my rescue inhaler had to be changed because the one I had was bad for the environment.
— Steffi (@Steffi_Cole) November 7, 2019
Yes! Same. But I guess that wasn't good enough. ?

This is getting into unprecedented levels of insanity.
What's the solution? Let these people die?
Absolutely insane.
— A Bear (@Bearocalypse) November 7, 2019
Of course not. They are making “asthma guilt”. Of course you can still use asthma inhalers, but you have to do it with SHAME, similar to white guilt, men guilt, straight guilt, etc…
— Gary Tsang (@gobio76) November 8, 2019
Just did some quick research & math. Time says inhalers = 635k metric tons/yr of CO2. US alone emits > 5bil. So that’s .0127% of just the US output.
This is irresponsible and shoddy.— Jay Hauck (@jayhauck68) November 7, 2019
So in reality all inhalers world wide generate less CO2 in a year than Private Jets do in a day.

Closing down TIME would actually spare a lot of greenhouse gases. Shut down the company to make atmospheric room for people with asthma to use their MDIs and breathe normally.
