As Twitchy reported, in a series of now-deleted tweets, Roseanne Barr said she was “ambien tweeting” when she sent that early-morning racist tweet aimed at Valerie Jarrett that cost her her show on ABC.

Sanofi US, the manufacturer of Ambien, wasn’t about to take the blame for her actions and sent out a rather politically charged subtweet:
