What agenda? 'White People' director holds Twitter Q&A, is asked the questions he deserves

We haven’t bothered reading Hillary Clinton’s “Hard Choices,” but we think know what she was talking about. “Sharknado 3” premieres tonight on Syfy at 8 p.m., but it won’t be over in time for us to catch the debut of Jose Antonio Vargas’ “White People” on MTV at 9 p.m.

At Twitchy reported, “White People” is being promoted by an #AskJose Twitter Q&A during which Vargas says he was just trying to create “a space where white Millennials can talk about their race and identity. No judgment” — right before Vargas judged Louisiana-born Gov. Bobby Jindal as “case in point” of a recent immigrant “whitewashing” himself. OK, so it’s that kind of judgment-free space.

That’s not a question, but it’s making “Sharknado 3” look pretty tempting.

The last we saw Vargas, he was looking pretty uncomfortable himself as the moderator of a Netroots Nation panel featuring presidential candidates Martin O’Malley and Bernie Sanders. Sanders threatened to walk out after screaming matches broke out in the audience and Vargas lost control of the stage, surrendering the microphone to a number of #BlackLivesMatter protesters.
