Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine is on the receiving end of massive ridicule after making nutty on-stage comments linking President Obama to the recent gun massacres in America.
On tour in Singapore, the outspoken birther conflated the Wisconsin and Colorado tragedies with the federal government’s deadly Operation Fast and Furious.
Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban so he’s staging all of these murders. The ‘Fast and Furious’ thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now, the beautiful people at the Sikh temple.
As video of the incident spread, Mustaine was pilloried universally for his comments.

In a bit of musical profiling, criticism of Mustaine soon spread to include conservative guitarist Ted Nugent, with some even drawing a line to Mitt Romney and the GOP.
