As Twitchy reported, there was a bit of a shakeup in the White House today as President Trump announced that he was firing Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin and replacing him with Rear Adm. Ronny L. Jackson.
And?
And, that’s the same physician who gave Trump such a glowing report after administering his physical in January — the one that had NBC News’ Ken Dilanian wondering if the president would step on a scale in public to prove he weighed only 239 lbs. — because obviously, the doctor was lying, right? He even called the president “very sharp” just at the time when the media narrative was that Trump was obviously mentally unfit for office because of his tweets.
Now Politico’s Edward-Isaac Dovere is getting in on the game, reporting on “some suspicion that went around a few months ago.”
there was some suspicion that went around a few months ago among government&military types about why Jackson would make some of the leaps & inferences he did in assessing the president’s health – that he was looking to please the president. This will likely feed those suspicions. https://t.co/zx8lWmbiAm

“This will likely feed those suspicions” — and that’s what journalism is all about, right?
Yes Obama’s former presidential physician appointee was just angling for a Trump cabinet job the entire time so he lied about the President’s health. JFC listen to yourself. https://t.co/3I1wBcbmsp

If that was Hannity every journo under the sun would be giving the ? or the ?????? to that kind of conspiracy speculation but it’s their friend so they just give the silent nod & hand him another award.

There was so much suspicion about this months ago that literally no one made a peep to a single reporter who never ran a story on said speculation but cause they know it sounds batshit insane

But hey don’t let journo tweets stand in the way of questioning ethics of a doctor they somehow never questioned under the last guy who appointed him.

Wouldn’t this be dismissed as a far-right conspiracy theory if the parties were reversed? Maybe — but there was that suspicion floating around.
There was? https://t.co/A2fVnkl1uh
