A bicyclist photographed flipping off President Trump’s motorcade became a viral sensation online, but her employer was not amused and fired the 50-year-old mother of two.

Did you tell her she shouldn't have violated her employers social media policy? https://t.co/LUzwDsC3jx

HuffPost’s Jennifer Bendery caught up with Juli Briskman, who had worked for a government contractor and whose picture was snapped by a White House photographer. She admitted that she “flipped off the motorcade a number of times.”
“He was passing by and my blood just started to boil,” she said. “I’m thinking, DACA recipients are getting kicked out. He pulled ads for open enrollment in Obamacare. Only one-third of Puerto Rico has power. I’m thinking, he’s at the damn golf course again.”
“I flipped off the motorcade a number of times,” she added.
Briskman, who was working in marketing and communications at Akima LLC, says she’ll look for work at an advocacy group she believes in, like Planned Parenthood or PETA.
Maybe Touré could pull some old strings and get Briskman a job as a commentator on MSNBC? Yeah, probably not.

Chris Hayes could probably land her a job as a pundit at MSNBC.
I’m sure the free speech brigades will have her back. https://t.co/PIh4r8thc3

Yeah, we’ve got her back.
Fired? C'mon. https://t.co/wbTGUNcUcb

She’s free to say whatever she likes and free to live with the consequences like a grown-up — a grown-up who used the photo of herself flipping off the president’s motorcade as her profile picture on Twitter and Facebook. It might fly if, as reported, she wasn’t employed by a government contractor — a pro marketing person should know that.

Politics in 2017 cause otherwise intelligent people to say and do stupid things and lose their jobs as a result example 5,287,432 https://t.co/ozXPGbPVyF
