Here's why Hillary Clinton really deserves Planned Parenthood's 'Champion of the Century' award

Hillary Clinton lost her bids for president in 2008 and 2016, but that doesn’t mean she can’t keep winning. Progressive groups will just keep inventing awards to present to her and Chelsea (who’ll be honored at Variety’s “Power of Women” luncheon this week).

Alexandra DeSanctis writes in National Review that Clinton will be the first-ever recipient of Planned Parenthood’s “Champion of the Century” award at its centennial gala in May.

DeSanctis notes that Planned Parenthood, which reportedly needs every precious cent it receives from taxpayers to provide health care to poor women, will honor Clinton at its “100 Years Strong: The Celebration of a Century” gala in New York:

… as Planned Parenthood takes the time to plan its fancy gala and hand out unmerited awards, it has yet to produce an annual financial report for the 2015–16 fiscal year. This, while the group continues to accept half a billion dollars of taxpayer money from the federal government each year. What’s more, several reports indicate that some of the group’s affiliates have engaged in possible Medicaid fraud to cover up use of this public funding to directly facilitate abortion procedures.
